Here are some suggestions on how the auctions should be fixed:
1) Tell us when listing the auction BEFORE typing a price in, what the minimum is.
2) Allow us to choose different times, such as 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, etc. There shouldn’t just be a 24 hour period only available.
3) As a buyer, when I get outbid, send me an email, or a popup if I’m in game, to let me know that I’ve been outbid. Not only will this benefit the buyer by actually knowing that they’ve been outbid, but will help the sellers as well as it will help create more bidding wars.
4) As a buyer AND seller, when the auction is complete, an email letting us know that the transaction has completed (or not completed and why), who won, the winning bid, etc. would be VERY helpful.
The game in my opinion relies a lot on the auction house, and there are VAST improvements that can be made on this playing field.
