Third tip: If you're low on health and need to engage enemies, Burst + Crossbow is pretty hard to beat. If you're in the middle of a mosh pit and want to get out, stop clicking if you have Charge unlocked. Charge triggers on an enemy in valid distance that you CLICK ON, making it easy to chain kills together on weak enemies.
Other tip along the line of BrainpanSonata's: Arrows have piercing here. Poison arrows are arrows. Poison arrows pierce with full effect. Meaning you can rack up many poisons in one shot. Aim for collateral.
A VERY aggressive strat seems to be the way to go. Hard tackles, do not give up or in, and sometimes just yeeting the ball out randomly is a smart move because it gets it way ahead of you and them off your back for a while. Makes it easy for you to swoop in if they grab it.
Also, free mid-to-late-game tip for any noobs here: At 1200, 750, in Hyperion, there's a secret planet. You'll need someone of at least Level 355 Exploring skill, with Radiation Survival, and Energy Weapons unlocked to complete it. Two zines, one is Level 1 and needs Cold and Energy Weapons, the other is 355 and needs Cold and Radiation. 1 is tiny, 355 is big I think.
It's a very grindy game but a protip to new players: you CAN hack it here on Kong. Keep an eye out for AgentIR in the chat and hope you get a bug: he usually rewards you for reporting them on the Discord, so there's definitive encouragement for feedback and such.
I've seen this kinda thing only used once before. I could believe, even without checking dates, that both are original thought by way of not knowing the other exists.
You know what would be really cool? Both more unique combinations (Axe+Spear or Glaive = Poleaxe), and two of the same item (e.g. Shoddy Shoes+Shoddy Shoes) combined does not use a combination charge, meaning it can be freely recombined until you try combining it with an iten of a different kind. Just a thought.
Gotta say, I love it when I see a dev answering comments literally whenever, it shows that they care. ...not that it's not obvious from the game itself but...
Tips for Tartarus: Use the hull that is rewarded for beating Atropos 2.0 in Boss Rush. Best of all worlds and the Megalaser is excellent. Try to save your bombs. Do NOT focus on hitting him, the Megalaser does that well enough. It's not over until it's really over, keep your eyes sharp. Equip the Warp Core. No spoilers but the reward is far too worth it. And importantly, Autobomb will be your saving grace if you can get to him with it. ...and when he starts "weaving" that spin pattern, switching holes is not recommended.
Yopt, I'm sorry but that would take finding the files on your computer's hard drive. Also, a tip to anyone running low on money late game: the MAssacre and Den levels are ALWAYS replayable for the same value.
Small tip: Always have a surplus of materials you want to use, and never have a surplus of what you want to sell when possible. Yes, this means don't let iron lines jam when they go to the seller, but do let them when they go to the steel.
