Fun puzzle game, but that save feature is a serious flaw! As far as I can tell, not only do you have to change the checkbox to 'Save Progress' on level 1 or be unable to ever save, but the checkbox is very confusing and counter-intuitive!
Same problem that GamerNightmare described. It froze up and went to 97% complete right after getting down next to the first TV. Pity, because otherwise the game is really cute and fun.
Not a bad core concept - decent port of Space Hulk - but you have ridiculously little ammo (seriously, not enough ammo to take down even ONE alien?!). And please, please, don't put a button that a person would reasonably click that cancels out of a just completed mission without saving it!
I thought the campaign mode was fun. The game isn't terribly deep, but its fun to toss out creatures and battle. I'm hating archmage mode though; it just seems completely luck dependent on getting an enemy setup that doesn't have all the huge nasty creatures. Trying to get difficult achievements on top of that is pure frustration.
Fantastic! I've been wanting some character art for a tabletop game for a while, and I've been able to come very close to how we pictured a lot of the characters looking for this. Being able to change the pose would be a nice feature.
The absolute best thing that can be said about this is that its fairly short. Of course, its still about four times as long as it has any logical reason to be.
The concept of having to move back and forth to figure things out is ok, and the game is cute, but the puzzles are often annoying trial and error, and several times I needed to rewind with absolutely no clue where I needed to go to or what I could possibly do differently.
Extreme mode is unbelievably lame. You sit around for half an hour with your starting turret combo destroying EVERYTHING, building up a ton of other defenses that never even get to fire, then all of a sudden at wave 135 you get two waves that waltz straight through without even taking damage.
I normally like the bonte games, but too many in here were annoying dexterity challenges that needed to repeated over and over to beat; I far prefer the puzzles to solve.
Anyone know how to get the bronze/silver/gold in the 'Cut Power' missions? I've tried blazing through them at high speed, I've tried killing everything...still no medal.
Ok, so TOUS is probably "_ of unusual size", but what's the t stand for?
Cute, sometimes tricky to figure out the monsters, but they were all solvable.
