nice approach to an idle game, really liked the retro style and well designed mechanics. Something that bothered my was not being able to see my health while the shop is open, that made me die because I thought everything was fine, since the last wave was pretty easy and suddenly "your castle is destroyed". Well, at least this made me see another cool aspect that I didn't understood on the tutorial, was rogue-like dynamic of starting over. Anyway, nice game, I won't rate it yet because I know that you're going to improve it, but it's a solid 4/5 to me right now.
honestly, no offense, but it's a waste to such a good name... I'm trying to build a REAL simulator and was going for that title :/ anyways, since you have chosen it first, I think you should keep practicing and design a simulator as well. I've been there, in Flappy Bird, and I'm not yet a great designer, so I know that your humble beginnings will be rewarded later, keep going bro..
on the game itself, you can improve the gameplay a little, by reducing the speed, and maybe even changing controls, since spacebar is a little clumsy for precision moves. You don't have to, but it would be nice to enhance the graphics, the menu screen... and I suggest you change the title, and not because I want to use it, but because it will confuse players and can be very frustrating for some people, which will probably attract bad comments and reviews.
Anyway, hope you keep practicing and achieve more at every try.
really touching piece of art, indeed. Great game... I'm developing a visual novel (or interactive fiction, as you wish) at university, and it has been a great experience so far... your game is a great inspiration to me, very cool the way you did achievments and alternative endings, great work! Also the content is really good... and giving the player a wallpaper in the end, nice move... I liked that kind of surprises. Hope I can do something that good one day. Thanks for the experience and for the inspiration, hope you keep developing great games :)
hey, nice concept, keep working on it. A few tips for your next update: the game stops when we change window. For an idle is very important to allow people to visit other window while the TPS is counting.
I think that would be better to have the upgrades right in the main screen, instead of inside a menu... also organize it better so it fits more upgrades in the future.
The click value is hard to see, because it's white in a clear background, try to make it darker so we can see better.
You can really get creative with the display of tricks and TPS, keep working on your UI.
And finally, learn how to make achievments for your game, like when the player reaches a certain number of clicks, certain levels of upgrades, value of tps, time played, etc... you can attack a temporary bonus for those, or just a "medal", will greatly improve player experience.
Anyway, nice job... keep studying and developing, you're on the right track.
I really dont known how to fix where changing tabs stops it ive tried a lot but i cant find it out also if you dont mind id like to dm you and ask you a few things about development if you dont mind
hey man, nice game,... I really liked... but I noticed something odd happening with the food production.. altough it says "3 per second" I'm only getting 1 per sec... through the game, when you reach the highest levels, it's very hard to upgrade things because the lack of food, and I think it's related to this issue...
thanks for the ending... i couldn't stop playing it, and the level kept comming!! hahahaha... really awesome game, a very creative approach to puzzles. The sounds are well designed, the way that they sound louder when more than one piece is reacting, well thought. Anyway, good game people, thanks. Hope to see more levels and features in the future (multiplayer / time attack would be awesome).
well done, really nice game... I wish I could do something like this for Idle Space Miner, but I need to get better at programming. Also, really liked how you talk to the players trhough the game and the updates section, it's an example for all devs.
very nice! I liked the way you did this. Also, great soundtrack... the music is awesome. I'm trying to make my first idle game and it's kind of hard for noobs in programming like me, but I'm inspired by your approach. It's simple, yet very well done, I'll get there someday. 5/5
I'm an amateur studying game dev, I also have a background with web design, so I can help you with the graphics, just send me a message describing what exactly do you need
Very nice design and animation, also very good gameplay... I usually hate TD games because they're always the same, but this one is a little different. I loved the mechanics for skill using, and the fact that you don't have to spend gold all the time to buy new towers, only to increase the turrets limit, that's cool enough for a 4/5. Unfortunately I'll have to give you a 5/5 because of the soundtrack, I just love Dub :)
keep up the good work!
yeah.. nice... but I have one question: why do I loose score when hit things? I already loose life when I hit stuff... why loosing score too?? I mean... it's kind of nonsense.. why do I have score anyway? you could just keep the life bar...
but a better idea is to make the character NOT lose his score and give opportunity for the player to increase the score (add some coins, or ice creams, or women in winter dress, dunno)
but it's kind of addictive (almost impossible to die... I kept the game rolling while writing this comment and I'm still alive)
keep improving!
flagged! if you don't know how to make games, don't come here waste our time (we already waste it with good games, so...)
and giving a false name to the game won't make you a better person... you should name it for something that relates to the game, like "ANOTHER CRAPPY FCKNG MAZE GAME FROM A TARD WHO HAS NOTHING TO DO" or something like that..
Thank you for your kind words! I hope I can play your game in the future as well! Keep in touch!
