The shield is OP, since enemies disappear after you touch them, the shield basically deletes all enemies, and also you should change the layering, having to pick up a powerup with a bullet right under it without knowing is annoying and rhymes
Not an RPG, more like a visual novel, as you actually see the characters do their things as scripted before, and the only input you do are making the texts move and make the decision on how the story move forward (although the choice is just on when to make them continue). An RPG is a Rocket Propeled Grenade..... wait not that one..... An RPG is a game where you play as another person, that person exists as you in another world, what he/she does is up to his/her free will, which is you, which means that it's not you, but a representation of you, but if you actually want to make a totally minimalist RPG, this thing would do if you just remove the texts, the inns and the battle, seriously, because then you will be playing as someone else, who is not you, but is your persona in another world which is totally flat(Lineworld?)
Players need wounded animation so players would know when their HP are low, Bosses needs something better than just heal potions (heck, that makes them as low as the cannon fooders on the steal charts)
