Fun, if you can tolerate Engrish. Just a tip for fast XP and dealing with enemy spawners:
Once you have a bayonet, you can position that soldier diagonal to an enemy spawner (so each time the enemies come out they will be directly adjacent to that soldier) and have him defend each turn. Whenever they spawn he will automatically defend with the bayonet, allowing for easy kills.
@corpsedeville: You have to start the game and then (without pausing or going to the shop) click outside the game screen. It should pause for you and you should see a picture creeping up on the bottom left of the screen.
Booty really is a pirate's best friend. Upgrade your loot and magnet early on and you will have a ton more gold by the time you get to the later bosses. Really helpful for the last 2 medals.
I'm not sure if this is a glitch or not but I was juggling a couple items to make room and when the tune that plays in the background ended my page refreshed... probably unrelated, but strange...
The fact that you only have to hit the coin with the correct beam once and the beam doesn't have to be going through the coin when you finish the level removes all the challenge
Your troops need to have a firing range that covers their body and perhaps a little area close to them. That way they would actually try to defend themselves from enemies coming from the side and one or two enemies won't just tear apart your line.
I'd like all the things requested by the high + comments, but the main thing I want is to see damage/reload/etc. stats when I am setting up my defenses
Frankly I'm surprised so many people are complaining this game is so difficult do to lack of GP. This is the easiest BT game I've played by far. The fact that you are forced to stay in one bubble the whole time rocks, on the old games i would be circling a tough enemy, and slip to another bubble.
