Not a bad game, but it doesn't take long for the only factor for progress becomes 'waiting' for minor upgrades to push you slightly further. No real decision making, other than 'what to wait for first'. Boring game design.
So, first battle after the tutorial, simple wasp, I ended up getting so much experience my PC almost crashed due to lack of memory. The sound spam was insane. Guess that's not normal?
To get good gems: don't level them at all until you've leveled up your gem leveling sockets quite a bit. (p/sec ones)
Then insert one gem into all 4 slots and don't play for a while.
When you get back, you'll have an insanely high level gem. For example, having 20, 15, 10, 5 p/sec and not playing for a day results in a lv~10.000 red gem.
I'm going to try and get around the gem leveling bug by not leveling any gems until I have a lot of p/sec for them, then put one gem in all slots and not playing for an extended period of time. They'll then be blocked like all higher level gems, but they'll have relatively very high levels.
In our pre-release testing stage we based our calculations on a ratio of 8 clicks per second. Autoclickers are not recommended, but ultimately it's up to the player to choose what to do with the game. Our goal is to make it enjoyable to all kind of players, however it should be expected that using any type of booster with superhuman capabilities (such as a software clicking hundreds of times per second, or timewarping your clock) will shorten the path to the endgame, therefore reducing its longevity. That being said, content updates are far from over, we hope you will be able to enjoy Realm Grinder as much and as long as possible!
Been playing the game for a while and I really like it.
Working on getting my last trophies and I'll be done.
I feel bad for doing the clock trick to get those hidden trophies, but I tried not getting coins with it, making it a bit less cheaty in my mind.
Love the fast updates.
