4,4 rating still isnt high enough i think...
thank you xdanond for making this game.
In truth the actual action gameplay might not have been the best game ever but still good enough on it's own to rank decently here on kong but... That's not the point.
The storytelling is world class. Marvellously deep and worth considering. And what gameplay there is makes for perfect breaks in the dialouge.

This is the first game on kongregate where i feel a 5 grade scale rating isnt enough. If games were rated 1-10 this is the first game i'd give a 10.
I havent finished the game yet but 4-5 hours gooing poof like nothing something i rarely noticed with films ond only few books.
Ty, and the 4,24 rating surprices me.

think achievments are broken since 2 "amount of cargo" achievements were met for stages six and seven before i played them. thinking mabye they points to stage one and two?
-As it is now Boss monsters lvl slower than regular monsters they spawn lower lvl weapons. A boss monster is not bossy when it whimpers in comparison to regular ones and the loot is crap. After floor 100 the comparison is laughable and killing a boss might make you accidentally pick up crappy loot you laboriously have to move to sell
-hold ctr to sell fast with mousclick?
-the variety of monsters is stagnant; at least the last 200 floors I played had the same population of monsters including the end boss. Repetition makes for boring play.
-when playing necromancer skeletons are crap even after lvl 20
Regardless of my whining the platform and general idea of the game is good.
Making changes could be the beginning of a great game, as it is now infinite is not a good thing. One could include stages and special monsters to make this game completable as in real end monsters that are tough as hell to kill.
Otherwise ty for a great game!

At floor 175 I was quite bored but wanted to see if the math caught up and after skipping basically 100 floors found out that my character basically increased damage exponentially for every lvl whilethe monster maybe did 60hp damage/hit on floor 275 (and roughly 40 damage on floor 175). After quickly dispatching a few monsters I had new armor and monsters once again did 40 damage a hit. Whereas my damage increase hiccupped up and up to insane lvls.
That was after skipping 100! floors with no kills.
To make a game like this worth ones while (I changed score from 5 stars to 3 after doing this long lvl run)
-monsters should have multiple resistances on higher lvls as well as higher throughput on some damage types as in nightmare and hell difficulties on Diablo.
-monsters doing criticals?
-items should have more types of bonuses maybe slots for runes and whatnot
Played this while drinking beer a few days ago. Generally it's a simple Diablo clone. As such the math at lower floors vs. higher level character is broken. After crossing the event horizon so to say with reasonable caution one could level indefinitely even skipping 100 floors or so and still easily zoom through the maps not killing and still survive easily.
From what I remember since I didn’t take notes, but floor 1-50 was somewhat challenging at times after that I started skipping some rooms. Only important note is one should have 100 cold resistance and the rest is gravy.
To begin I took 2points strength and 2points stamina, after a while with increased survivability I went on to 3str and 1 stamina and later basically just strength.
After floor ~75 I could just run around and feel quite comfortable and since I’d rather skip some floors and kill higher lvl monsters to lvl in fewer attacks I skipped maybe 10 at a time and then cleared a level to get a new sword and armor.
5/5 for potential, way too easy now, mabye I was lucky but some of my stats turned into NaN somehow Passing (20?). Felt like I ran through the demo. Still could be fun in the end.
This version of the game is not really a game but rather something more similar to: Iq test/ chess game/ checkers/ whatever. The fun in it for me was the fact that there were no real limits but the game mechanics and then figuring out how to optimise the problem at hand so to say.
But there are possibilities of making this game a many small map problems with nodes that cannot explode with say limited amounts of changes to the set board etc.
Still...
Has anyone even tried to beat my scores?
