@iancudorinmarian: In response to your "He has to test everything after he adds something", developers build a test unit or unit testing mechanism to avoid this time consuming process. Especially with this maze of if-statement (which we call AI) I would build an test unit around it to save myself days of debugging the code. I'll bet he just do the same. Please don't respond like a developer when you're not because it gives false information to the other players.
@iancudorinmarian: I know, that's why I ended with "I'm not complaining". I'm a professional developer myself and know the amount of work. I don't want to go be technical here but telling that development goes fast and is bigger than other developers is just a lie (my post was a response). Then when I started playing in the winter of 2009/2010 it was not only the amount of updates but also the size of updates was a lot more, ONE man or not. Just go back to the time when sundial (hasten ability) blocked for 2 turns, nymphs didn't exists, farmed the hell out of T50 and the high-score board was linked with mochigames you'll see that the 1.4 update isn't that big, not half of it (UI changes doesn't mean writing code). So I think the ONE man is a poor excuse, he has other projects and other priorities than elements and we have to respect that, at least I do.
@rowcla: I have to disagree with you here. The last update was 4 months ago, and the update was minor: a pvp bug fix. So also Zanz is doing small updates. The last bigger update was 1.5 years ago, we did get new cards (salvages and dry spell), shards moved to an element and some balancing has been made as new UI for some cards. It was the update from 1.31 to 1.32. I'm not complaining or anything, still playing everyday, but development is very slow compared to what Zanz did in 2009/2010.
@xaved: A crusader gaining an +3/+2 can be achieved when it targets a short bow, short sword or hammer (unupped). The opponent probably had it's weapon in the weapon slot, next to the shield slot, and not on the field. For the record: Weapons can't be played on the field directly, only through the weapon slot.
@xaved: I have this problem too, at least on my Macs. Today I almost own 4000 cards but when I started the game it was a lot faster in buying and selling cards. Back then I owned less than a hundred cards. I think it has also to do with the amount of cards you own. It's even longer when I buy an card that I don't own yet (just tested it). Again, this is all flash player that's causing this latency. Of course it could be "poor" programming that's the source of the problem inside flash, your choice ;)
@Xyliaa: Level 1 decks does indeed has random cards but can be very powerful when luck isn't on your side. I can imagine some ways how it have killed you because the randomness can generate very powerful combos. Level 1 decks, in theory, are capable of killing every player out here.
@xaved: About your #2. You sell all your cards locally, then when you leave bazaar your (new) card collection is updated and send to the server. I'm just saying because the latency in selling cards can't be caused by the server. If you're running a Mac, there is some minor latency (about 0.2 seconds) because Flash on an Mac doesn't run as smooth as it does in Windows.
@sinlike: As an developer myself, I would say it's an developer's choice. The possible "hack" situation can of course be worked out, just adding a back reference to the creature and undo the turn played as giving back the ability costs to the quanta pool. So an mutant or creature with free abilities will work too. To me your question isn't that strange and won't be that hard to realize.. At least it won't change anything to the game play so it won't harm anyone. Send it to zanzarino's suggestion box and see if they will add it :)
@BurnerDutch: The pvp server is probably running on one or two servers in someones basement. The whole reason why this game is free, you can't have it all.
"Congratulations, you have completed Renegade Racing! You are now the renegade master!". After having completed every mission, collected all coins and achievements I was hoping to be able to buy or get an funny or ultimate car or another game mode.
Dave, When you're able to beat lvl19 you should try survival mode because you can play forever there and at some point the money will be earned fast. When I had like 450K earned I let my plane be destroyed and upgrade my plane completely. Lvl20 was easy after that :D
What I'm missing is some sort of experience multiplier when you finished the game with the gems untouched. When you play on hard (40 waves) en play 'brilliant' or 'good' you'll receive almost the same XP.
@Bassx Hi there, works here (it's the same in French).
