got stuck on purple knight boss.. cant kill him, and cant go back due to keyholeblock. am i missing something?

after 10 minutes i realised it was worth the buy. Great game

i have done almost all the dungeons. red ones aswell. and still i have no campaign progression... what and where is the campaign quest?
