When you robots banked, you should be able to update mods and have the total robots reset to 1 + the amount of robots banked. Which is very important when dealing with Computer Units who can't bank but get used Warrior Drones and Searching Drones and Civilian Ships, ... And it's annoying to have to click and turn those all back on because for less than a second there was only 1 computer drone.
Lol. It's hilarious for you, End_Of_Eternity, to call me condescending after telling me to play shooters because I don't understand this 'high art.' You miss my main point. This game lack gameplay! The only thing that changes each game is the 'story.' Everything else is just Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V from the last chapter. Take away your value judgements on the writing and tell me anything else about this game stands out. Because it doesn't. Which why anyone who doesn't like the creator's dumb jokes has no reason to play these games. Also, the writing is very sloppy. Ex. the priest question which could have been 'marry', since some orders don't allow marriage, but was 'fun' because they can't 'drink ...' even though many orders of priests can.
Is it really better than an idle/MMO? These games have about as much more 'gameplay' as the average idle game. Click though long text sequences follow the rails to until you asked all the right questions with the right objects while doing 'fun' multiple choice questions to test reading comprehension. Yay, so much fun gameplay: reading bad fan fic level writing and then answer questions about it.
The fact that people think this is good writing shows how little good writing they've actually read. This writing would be subpar for subpar writers. Even Dan Brown and Stephenie Meyer would turn their noses up at this dreck.
This is what games look like without play testing. Huge drop from the first one in quality. Real fun dying twice because the developer did not bother to check out if a death test happens before light spawns or having puzzles requiring the player to make a move as the timer ends, but having the timer end a couple ticks after the stopwatch completes.
Looks like the answer to mine (and several others) question with switch flippers is you can drop through the moving platforms. Good to see that mechanic introduced with a 'you know it or you don't' test.
If you're having problems with the gold cup, try it again after beating the game. The skill you unlock from winning the game (Shadow Form) makes the fight much easier.
Best strategy is do the highest level you can win without using specials and let it autoplay it until you've leveled high enough to autoplay the next one. Gameplay isn't interesting enough to warrent doing anything else.
These are the new Papa's games. But at least the Papa's games had some game play. Instead of holding down the mouse until the bad dialogue runs its course.
Worst levels: Level 11 is all timing and you have have to wait a few seconds at the start every time you fail making failure even more frustrating. Level 13 is like level 11, but worse requirements for time, but at least you don't need to wait at the start. And level 14 is the worst of them all. 14 does have a glitch where if you hit the hit box of the first bat in the right area (the hit box extends above the bat) you can fly below the next bat and above the last bat to clear to the end without having the do the down smash, down smash, tongue combo. But, I've only been able to do it once.
The cannon balls strength is with prestige multipliers. 2x gets you through level 200 unupgraded outside of sniper blocks. 4x gets you through level 400 unupgraded.
Flipline just isn't good at game design. Enemies you never see can target you from off screen. You can't get on a ladder off an enemy bounce or special. But, there are places where the platforms are one wide and enemies you can get stuck bouncing on leaving you the choice of bouncing forever or falling to your death as there is nowhere safe to land. Enemy respond time after hits is sometimes shorter than their invincibility meaning you can lose hit points to enemies you can't hurt. All in all not worth the time for the badges.
The trick is to stay in as small of an area as possible. Which means you only have to keep track of the small vertical column you live in and later the bottom row. Muting may also help.
