Level 13's challenge relies WAY too much on luck. Luck that your lightning will arc the right way to kill soldiers before they run up to your base. Luck that if they reach it, a turret will hit them instead of the walker/tank on the other side of the screen, and luck that your turrets will hit the airplanes instead of those same walkers. Oh, and enough luck that you'll learn to stagger the releases of the wave 8 so that the 2nd grand walker won't end up killing you with 11 hp.
The game was fun. It didn't have a great story, but it's an arcade game, not a professional one. The graphics weren't amazing, but they weren't terrible. They were just clean. The gameplay was fun, but the repetitiveness sometimes made it not fun. It took me about 4 tries to get the time medal on level 5. Also ,the +50 health wasn't a good enough achievement. That would have been much better for having 10 gold medals, and having 15 would double your damage with all weapons.
4/5
Such an enjoyable game. The graphics are nice on the eyes, and the music fits well with the graphics. I'm jealous of your skill, and I look forward to the sequel.
Here are some issues (I would call them issues):
1. Max fortitude lets you run through lava without taking damage. You should raise the damage so that you still get stunned.
I love your work, and hope that you continue making games of this quality.
Interesting.
It looks like you created a wireframe mesh, and it looks like nothing from one angle, but looks like something else from a completely different angle.
This is classic paltforming at its finest. The graphics are crisp, 8-bit-esque sprites and backgrounds. The coins provide incentive to continue to beat the level. The enemies make things interesting. The music loops nicely and is differed between levels. 5/5
The main issue with this game is it's too random. All of the dodge games I've played (and liked) got progressively faster. This one, however, does not seem to have much of a curve to it. Also, the spawning of pills seems totally random and sometimes unfair in that there have been deaths where I died to the game simply not creating enough pills to keep me alive. In the end, it seems like getting any large number of points is more a thing of luck in the placement of falling dice then anything.
