If the game lags, missions with time limits become unbeatable, all enemies don't even have time to reach you. The time should be running slower if the game is running slower.
I believe there is something wrong with a game design when a key presser becomes a valid strategy. By the end i cannot imagine how someone could keep spamming magic attacks at that rate (i'm guessing 200 ms) just to keep up with magic recovery.
Special modes are for some reason unlocked sooner than it is written. The last mode "extra strong enemies" is supposed to be unlocked at level 33, it was unlocked i believe at level 19.
P.S. It seems really strange that you can fight first level with all modes on and earn roughly 15k exp and 2-3 lvl without any challenges. And at the same time you can go and play the "hard" levels on normal and get only 2k exp. Add some sort of extra xp for winning the map for the first time so that progression would actually be worth more exp than replaying the first level over and over again.
spam live wire in every level on any mode. When you have all of the roads full of spikes just send all the waves at the same time. You will be getting roughly 500 IR every second and i have found no enemy that managed to deplete your pool fast enough. Upgrade live wire to full, then upgrade the pool for maximum effect, but i have found that this is not necessary. Live wire is seriously overpowered...
Got a high score of 655 (should be top8 result) yet it did say i was not in the top100. Also the distributor site MyPlayYard is known for distributing malware and viruses according to WOT scorecard. Other than that it was fun, I liked playing it 3/5.
Unlimited skill points!
When you lvl up press plus sign near any attribute several times really fast. Then the game lags a little and skill points become negative. From that point on you can add as many points to whatever attribute.
P.S. new levels will decrease that negative number
Having in mind that insects have way more species than animals or even more than there are elements on earth they are grossly misrepresented in this game.
Did you know that an orca is commonly referred to as a killer whale? It is far less commonly know that this is because of her black and white skin pigmentation... Fire + Fox = Firefox? as it appears if you try to burn foxes your going to transform them to pandas because they will go to trees to avoid fire or some other bullshit.
critical hit with laser can get up to 9000 dmg (with laser and crit hit perks maxed out). all you need is critical and any enemy is down.
I would like to see a menu with weapons. So you can just go through all the weapons that you have (or don't) and look at their dmg, firing rate... Also I would suggest making one wave (preferably near the end) with greatly increased drop rate for weapons so that you can be sure that everybody got all of them. It is disappointing when you save upgrade points for rocket launcher perk and never get it.
Great game indeed nerdook.
But as always there is some easy way to beat this game. You need to build two towers at the ends of the block with 2 Piercing(found on 3x1) and 3 Booster(found on 2x2) blocks. Firing 4 arrows a second with (5-8)!=15-36 dmg each. It get repetative from here cause you only have to repeat the same towers and in some cases add 2 Eye(found on 3x3) blocks between them to kill invisible bosses. In survival it gets even easier because in addition you get up to 40 sword dmg from souls(weapon perk 1x2) add critical on that and you can beat any boss even with minimal help from two towers.
To get a lot of money you need to put all of the funds into your life. Then buy new crew members and put all of the money into their health. Keep playing the first level doing so and you will get increasingly larger amounts of cash(up to 12000$$$).
Keep this comment alive: +++
I can't seem to find a way how this game encourages you to play more from the point when you have around 10 cards. All you do from that point on is construct a single tactical scheme with items and characters and repeat it indefinitely. You do not become a better player and you do not get any more items that actually mean something to you because all items and characters are somewhat equal... I want to play, just give me INCENTIVE.
Opponents AI really disappointed me. I did not expect simple arena mages be smart, but seriously the mages from great book should. They have really good levels, so they should have all of their skills maxed out. For some unknown reason they do not use their skills when they can and they do have enough mana so they do not need to save it. For example I am chaos mage and when I fought the first rank that was also chaos mage I won against him purely because he did not use chaos added ability to lower enemy's special. So I lowered his special, he did not lower mine, and the battle is practically ended. I have seen this exact same thing on every single mage I fought. When you even get close to maxing out your clan skills there is no thing left in this god dammed world that could beat you and you are not even in the middle of the game.
The gameplay is too fixed. Give us some freedom to walk around in non story areas. Also i would like to battle some monsters to raise level which is also quite fixed.
i kinda like this game but it still has few flaws. 1. if you have to add so many particles then be sure you add a limit for them and preferably even "disable particles" option. they make this game lag for me and i believe many others. 2. make the game hard and long enough. i spent 30 minutes to finish this game and honestly that is kinda short. i used rage and magic attack only for amusement, and there was not an instance when i feared for my castle health. i will try to complete the game without any upgrades just to see if that would be more challenging. 3. add at least some content. i want to see what am i defending and what am i fighting against. it would have taken you couple of hours to think of moderate story for 20 waves... i think developers did quite a good job making this game and i really would like to see an upgraded version of it.
