The option to return to Bunker should be like... a pity system. Every time you don't get the option to return to Bunker, it goes up every time. Say there's a base 10% of going back to Bunker, and you don't roll it after clearing an area out. Then it goes to 15%. Still no Bunker? 20%. So on and so forth. Not those exact numbers, just an example. After say, 5 or ten rolls with no Bunker, you can go to the Bunker next time, guaranteed.
If I could stop running into high level stuff like Gorillas and robots in the earlygame, that would be fantastic... encounter rates definitely need to be rebalanced. It shouldn't all be easy pickings, but it just doesn't make sense to go right from 1 to 11 while exploring the same area.
There's something here, but it definitely needs a lot of polish and tweaks. And it seems you've been receptive to this and been working on that... so I'm very interested to see where this ends up. Keep at it!

To a similar point, if it isn't already there, level up bonuses should be geared towards a classes's designated specialization (Ie, Melee bonuses for the melee classes more often, looting bonus for the looting classes more often) and maybe a selection of 3 bonuses to pick each level instead of 2, just so there's a better chance you can gear your character towards their intended specialization.
A variety of ideas.
Bonus skill and stat points that we can distribute upon finding quest items, maybe smaller amounts of them for knowledge drops? That's a good basis for a prestige system. Basically what we already have, but much more consistent and useful.
Classes should be given equipment more ideal for their specialization instead of just getting a random set of crap. I'm a melee specialist. What the hell do I need guns for? Maybe don't guarantee that the melee specialist starts with a baseball bat, but it should be more likely than say, a looter.
Okay... Cave of Gnomes, Vampire Sword, and Charmed Statue are quests I'm stumped on how to clear. I think it might just be as simple as I don't have enough mana/dark weapons to clear Charmed Statue but the other two feel like they should be beatable.. any ideas?
With that rant aside, Demon Guardian 3 actually DOESN'T seem to scale up. I got way further with him upgrading my whole party as opposed to just the archer. Still can't get him below 40k health though, so... seems like I have a LOT of work to do.
And for crying out loud people. I may not agree with all of the decisions in the game but you're completely missing the point here. "Waah, my warrior gets 1 armor and the guardian gets 3 attack!" Then don't build armor on your warrior if you want to kill the guardian, you goddamn idiot. Demon Guardians are rare enemies that are SUPPOSED to be hard to kill and you are SUPPOSED to build specifically for. You are directly the cause of your own failure here. Numerous people have told you to build your archer for the guardians (which isn't working for Guardian 3 at all, but whatever) and the only one at fault is you if you can't listen to the advice and plan your build accordingly to beat them.
-NOTHING ELSE- in the game scales besides guardians, people, you can stop complaining about that now. It's one rare enemy type.
Whoa. Okay, the first guardian honestly wasn't that bad. No idea why people are making such a fuss about scaling now.
Now, the second guardian on Floor 22 has me stumped. All I did was buy 10 swords to check out this new ability thing and his stats went insane... I definitely scaled him, but it shouldn't have been THAT insane. 13.7 health and quad digit armor.
Did the swords screw up everything, or is he SUPPOSED to be that ridiculous? I also bought a lot of brigantines that in retrospect I didn't need at all because Guardian #1's attack scales with it anyway, and my healer was healing enough to nullify his damage (Yes, you read that right people. You can stop shitting all over the cleric now. He has his uses.) regardless. So... maybe that played a part? No idea.
Guys. Add me on skype or something at jportsman1. Help me out here. I have so many unanswered questions regarding this game and some of you seem to have cracked the code.
What does killing the rat bastard Demon Guardian even do? It better be worth it.
I'd complain more about scaling like some people have been, but he seems to be the only dude that scales, so... whatever. Might take me a million years but I'll probably eventually be at the point where I can just kill him and move on with my life.
Especially since I don't think he scales on prestige upgrades... or does he? Because THAT would be evil, not that he isn't already, but scaling on prestige upgrades would definitely be ridiculous enough to demand change.
Is the 3x multiplier consistent, or does it only work on your current run? If I'm going to pay for something, then by golly, I deserve to know what exactly it is that I'm paying for. Failure to clarify this is extremely sketchy.
At 300 buildings, Newspapers are the most expensive building, Oil Companies are the cheapest, and it goes like that from descending order if you exclude lemonade stands... these numbers are all out of whack no matter which way you want to look at them. Furthermore Angel Investors being gained PER SECOND literally breaks the game even further when it's numbers are already screwy. ON TOP OF THAT I own achievements I didn't earn: I have only 300 newspaper stands, but it thinks I got 500. It thinks I have 500 numerous other achievements as well, but not some 400, for example, I own the 500 car wash achievement but not the 400, even though I SHOULDN'T have either. I'm going to be completely honest, the game is a mess right now. You really should have taken the time to polish this update properly instead of giving in to the pressure and releasing it early: I can't speak for everyone, but I would -much- rather have quality updates over rushed updates.
Yes,dont worry about that, because the buy information keep stored on kongregate server, while saves are stored on flash cookies, by the way if you want to have a backup of your saves use the "export command" and later the "import command" :)
I'm so tragically sorry none of your precious achievements are working so you can't get your imaginary points that have absolutely no worth. Boo-hoo-hoo, cry me a flipping river why don't you.
