Great game!
Only question is about the rocket turret's special skill. Instead of dealing 50% as much damage as the actual main rocket blast, each of the 4 secondary "cluster" explosions appear to actually deal a whopping 75 TIMES THE MAIN ROCKET's DAMAGE!!!
I don't honestly know whether this is a bug or not, but I like it!
TBH, I think that ALL 3 attempts for the Dark Tower should refresh at once, not just 1 of them. This would let people play that mode for longer (thus raising overall playtime) & also would stop 1 failed attempt from locking me out of the tower for an entire 8 hours!
For some "odd" reason, I keep on getting disconnected whenever I try to scrap more than 1 item at a time. (Happened to me 3 times in a row now) PLEASE fix this so I can actually play the game without getting booted every 5 mins. I like Bit Heroes (it's a great game), but I'd be happier if disconnection errors & long loading times weren't such an issue.
I played this game a while back (before getting locked out of my old Kong account and being forced to make a new one), and loved it. I'm super happy that this game uses Unity instead of flash. :)
Annoyingly, ninja waves are too spaced out to let crypts home in on them. When the first ninja is killed, the next ninja in line, summoned too late, would still be invulnerable. Thus, the leftover crypt projectiles, lacking an enemy to home on into, simply vanish.
A minor nuisance but not enough to make me quit. :)
I've got a bit of a question here: If I turn all my cannonballs into those cannon-bombs, what does buying the "Cannonball Damage" upgrade do? Does it increase the bomb's collision damage? What about its explosion damage? Or does it just do nothing at all?
I really want someone to clarify this because I wanna know whether I'm wasting my gold on an obsolete upgrade or not.
BTW the "Monster Speed" button is bugged - it doubles the monsters' speed without speeding up your defenses, thus causing your castle to get overrun with enemies in no time at all.
(I'd like this to be fixed at some point or another.)
Chester the demon chest is remarkably efficient in his gold-to-cash conversion rate. 100 gold for just 5 people is the best rate out there, and as an extra bonus, he doesn't make your people unhappy. :)
I like how some of the enemies display little death quotes upon dying. It's a tiny touch that makes the game a bit cuter.
(Maybe they can be implemented somehow in The Perfect Tower II?)
To be honest, I think this game is a lot more balanced than the new sequel. On a completely different note, I just got myself a "Mighty Orb of Wonder of Wisdom", and I'm annoyed over how that 2nd "of" is grammatically incorrect. It should be "Orb of Wonder AND Wisdom". :)
I'd like this game a lot more if you could tell your heroes to do things in a methodological, step-by-step manner. Instead of having to make my heroes focus exclusively on enemies with <30% health while aimlessly shooting at random targets, I would tell them that whenever they'd try attacking an enemy, they should hit the enemy with the least health. This lets me pick off enemies one by one, avoiding scenarios with swarms of low-HP enemies.
UGH!
Tiles with Inferno orbs should be considered "Dangerous Terrain" to stop people from intentionally walking into them.
I accidentally killed my Lvl 14 Ranger/Fire Mage by walking into my own Inferno Orb by mistake. I guess I'll just have to try again, it seems...
Greagame, but the badges aren't working for me. I've finished 1 of the 4 campaigns already and won 4 PvP rounds (3 ranked & 1 Brawl), but the counters for both achievements are still at 0.
Can somebody fix this? Thanks!
Great game with a great story line.
NEVER BUY POTIONS FROM PEOPLE!!! When you die in the Graywoods dungeon, you'll respawn next to a chest containing a free potion. Thus, dying there lets you get potions without paying anything at all! :)
