Optimization update
We have updated the game with some important optimizations
Memory requirements:
1 GB should be enough to load the game smoothly now.
Graphics performance:
We have cut the number of “draw calls” required down to a third. Hopefully this will help those struggling with low frame rate.
Notes:
Quality settings Beautiful and Fantastic both have 2x Multi-Sampling Anti Aliasing enabled. This can cause a significant drop in frame rate on less powerful PC’s.
Please do keep commenting and providing feedback. This is a beta, and we have many - many - ways to build on this game, so for us it is important to know what you want, so we can build the features you crave for!
Also, it worth to note that we are only 3 guys operating this somewhat massive scale of a game, so we try to be as reactive and fast as possible, but we simply can't churn out what larger companies can do. So please be patient with us, but know that you can have a much bigger influence on the game than you would with a larger company :)

6: Playing each your own character: We actually had this game mode in a previous version, where you could play between 2 to 20 people in the same match. If you guys want that kind of game mode, we'll consider putting it back into the game :)
7: Offside: There is no offside in BBS. This is a decision we made because we thought it made the game more fun and less restrictive. We're going after a fast paced arcade action gameplay here. However, we could make it optional somehow?
4: Shooting/passing angles: Right now, each individual footballer's shooting stat determines how well he shoots, meaning that you aim where you want to shoot, but the shot might not necessarily go there (based on a dice roll). The footballers all have 8 different stats determining how well they pass, shoot, tackle etc. These are hidden from you at the time, but we're planning on exposing these at a later stage, allowing you to tweak and boost each individual footballer's stats.
5: Auto switch: This is one of the toughest things to implement, and we've been through many iterations before we landed on this one. We'll keep improving it, especially in defense situations right now where it is lacking. A workaround right now is to manually switch between players by right clicking the mouse.
2: General AI and keeper AI: Or let's call it what is is - Artificial Unintelligence :) This is always a hard nut to crack. The AI should be easy enough for new players to enjoy the game, but compelling enough for hardcore players to enjoy. This is something we will tweak a lot on down the line based on your feedback. We agree that it is very easy at the moment - but we'll update it based on your feedback to make it more fun to play against. Things like the goalie running into his own goal and not responding well to passes from his own team will also be fixed.
3: Corner kicks and set pieces. Right now I think that they aren't so much of an advantage because we haven't implemented headers yet. Once we get those into the game, it will give a whole new aspect to those situations. We're also contemplating making a minigame out of it, sort of how penalties work right now. We'd love to get your thoughts and ideas about it!

To touch on some of the points we have seen:
1: Lag: Our servers are currently located in EU only - which means that anyone outside should expect latency of 150ms+. This is something that is common in any multiplayer game, and although we will add servers worldwide in the future, you will not be able to play crosscontinent without someone experiencing some lag.
