nice one, pretty good game.
For people complaining about lack of rests, get the second relic at the top in "the cliffs" i think it was - it gives mild mana regen letting you able to wait a bit if you need to and survive longer
too stressful for me to bother finishing - loved the game but too difficult for me to enjoy it.
co-incidently i also hate "DONT GET HIT" in a bullet hell game ruins the fun of blowing stuff up and makes me stressed as i'm an achievement addict.
I'd also find the blowing up stuff very fun but my weapons feel too weak or my shields feel too weak and since there's no more upgrades im gonna find something else rather than try finish lvl 25.
4/5 from me
Great game, would of loved kong highscores on things mined (such as gold & titanium or total blocks dug) to keep me playing it longer & would love expansion of deeper ground more upgrades and newer ores! Maybe be fun decorative creations as well to show of my hoards of gold and gems?
I love this genre, (mining for stuff) and have never seen this genre been done well and this one has done it right on!
i hope the person who thought up "first 3 levels with no missing" hung himself shortly after, good game though but now im ragequitting ive skimmed a ghosts head too many times 4/5
game started lagging bad so i looked and it was taking over 700mb of ram, so i refreshed now i can't load my save in slot 1 which says it's lvl 34 and i was only lvl 12, slot 2 now says lvl 12 but neither of them will load.
would prefer more upgrading to do like shops and stuff cause it just seems like major grind, i do love the large map though would be nice to give an indication how hard a spot is so you dont jump into an unbeatable battle 4/5
i dunno what all this confusion is on hit chance. when you attack the defender rolls a random number between 1-100 which is shown at the top. The attackers percentage to hit needs to be equal to or higher than that number for them to hit but even then with a shield there is a chance the defender will block with their block skill. Also damage is halved for a light attack, normal is standard damage and heavy is either 150% or 200% damage i can't tell because of crits.
You should also just keep all the learning equip you find to increase your leveling rate as early as poss and stretch some battles out to gain extra levels ie using light attacks all the time even thought normal and heavy are 70%+
this is a great series to me though, the leveling system is great. There are problems with the game just being slow, resources being scarce is probably going to annoy me later on especially since you need to make things to lvl it, but a great add on to the previous game for me 5/5
umm im at the start where it says "use arrow keys to move" all i can do is walk for 3 seconds to a movie then i end up back where i started and theres nowhere else to go :/
awesome game, rpg meets action space shooter 5/5 bit of lack of guns though i dunno about everyone else but i got the combat shotgun about 3 levels in and nothing else beat it 10+ levels in
yet another very nicely presented game, upgrades and unit picking seems too fixed & limited for me died on the one with 2 mammoths and 2 bombers, dont like having to just get rid of units and rebuy new ones for every level would be nice to have a reserve will probably come back at some point for the badges
5/5 love this game, little short though. lots of longevity could be gotten if you could restart the game with harder enemies, nothing for me to do now ive played it through both sides. ---
odd things i noticed are: i sided with the magicians to the poin i was an ally and was going crazy killing everything as i got the heartstone, as you do, and when i killed magicians it said magician rep +8 & magician rep -12 --- also never bothered with shops as you always seem to be getting the same/better equip just seconds after buying it --- on the first spider boss one of the guards glitched into the wall and circled 270 degrees round it until he came out at the room entrance.
sucks you have to spend hours and hours banging your head on a wall to try and unlock the last bits of the game, i usually take the time to level up so its easy but you can't even do that so i dont think ill bother trying to get to zone 6 & 7
NaN means 'not a number', most likely would mean a variable in the code hasn't been set to a number
anyway brilliant game i'm amazed its got so few plays definite 5/5 for me, little things i didnt like are 1.the way once you opened a menu you couldn't close or navigate it with the keyboard 2. the fighting seemed a little 'stuck' - i can see my range being pointless later on being unable to run around shooting 3. the barman in the salty sailor seems to auto spam spacebar when you go near him 4. please continue making part 2 and onwards!
