So yes, the game is pretty good, the sounds are pretty good, but this bug can make it way to easy. Also the "oh, no" sound effect comes a little to soon -sometimes I went out of the screen just a little bit, but then I was able to beat the level even after hearing it. Again, great game.
It would be nice if you could also use a keyboard button instead of click. Also the first obstacle gives you two score points instead of one, I don't know if that's intended. Other than that, I guess it's fine to spend some time :).
I see a lot of potential in this game. Some inconvenience I found is that after you start a level you can neither restart nor exit. Also an undo move would be nice, because I tend to make bad choices.
Really nice game. A few things I noticed thought: 1. There is no way to exit or restart a level after you start it. 2. There in no reason to make health potions when you can just spam herbs. 3. Accidentally droping a potion a few pixels next to the character and permantly losing can be annoying. 4. No mute button (in-game at least). 5. The tutorials-tips are really good to guide you in the beginning of the game but they get annoying after a while. Since the concept is not that hard, one should get it after the first two potions. Also they reappear every time I play the level. Maybe an option to turn them off would be nice.
P.S. Oh, and I liked the art. And the title pun :)
The "coming soon" box never leaves the screen, sometimes the "you died" message stays after pressing "r" and then after pressing "r" again it leaves, but then after a while reappears (I think the game starts playing in the background but you still see the opening screen). You have to playtest your games more.
Hi. First, sorry about the inconvenience, we are working on a new version of the game where no e-mail will be asked and the translation will be included. Please, try it again and tell us your opinion ;)
EDIT: We've uploaded an updated version, no emails required now and there's an English version!
The jump doesn't really feel natural, even the tiniest tap gives me to much of a boost. Also if you are not going to put a leaderboard or a personal highscore at least print my score on the lose screen so I can screenshot it or something.
It's kinda hard to control the player, up and down don't give you much accuracy, maybe there should be an in-game description as well. And there are no boundaries in the game, I can move away then I just float forever, maybe you should force reset the player after they get too far. Also collecting every blue coin is asking too much, or I am just too bad at this.
Hello, thanks for feedback! I had plans to implement force reseting before publishing the game, but I was in such a hurry last few days that I completely forgot about it. Anyway, it's now updated, and you can also finish level if you haven't collected one coin. I didn't change player controls as I would also need to change every level.
Sometimes after clicking in the shop, or outside of the game the player stops moving, and even clicking inside the game won't change anything. Also some visual indicators of when I am getting hit or when my attack cooldown finishes would be nice.
That was really nice, but it is quite easy and it doesn't really change. I reached level 15 then I got bored. It would be nice to see other players scores to make it a little more competitive, or at least to see my highest score.
After I die nothing happens (I can restart with r, but still it would be nice to have a lose screen or something), also there is no pause button. And there isn't really much to do in the game, I barely even have control of the fall.
Ok, the general idea is good, bt it feels like it is not playtested. A few things I noticed: 1. M does not return you to the menu after losing. 2. Filling the screen with enemies doesn't make the game more difficult (well it does, nut the point is that it also has to be managable). 3. Playing a game with wasd and having q as instant quit button is not a good idea. 4. No pause button.
The controls feel kinda off, when I jump, I rise too slowly and then I fall too slowly. The hitboxes are much bigger that the objects and they stop my momentum everytime I touch them. Also I found an invisible wall at the 3rd or 4th scene, and in the next scene I got outside of the screen and then but the camera didn't follow me. Now it's stuck, so a restart button would also be nice.
thanks for your feed back we at TCStudios are currently working on your problem rest assured it will be fixed currently an update is on the way its will be up in the next 5 mins
I liked this one, maybe I would have enjoyed it more if it was easier. I can tell that you put some effort in this (secret corridors and all). Personally I prefer games that allow players to grind their way through, with some sort of upgrades, if they are not good enough, but this is a matter of preference. Maybe you should at least consider a small period of immunity after the first hit so that spiders won't do so much damage.
P.S. I noticed that you have no credits so I would like to ask you, where did you find all those sprites, did you make them yourself?
The controls feel a little weird. The turns are too sharp, gravity is too enhanced, jump is too small. I can't say I didn't like it, but it feels rushed. Also levels get a little repeatitive and I can't say this enough: I want to go back to the main menu, I want to choose another level, don't skip these parts, they are important.
You're right, except I don't understand what you mean by sharp turns. I actually coded everything from scratch, and I spent a lot of time on this game. I wanted to move on to my next project quickly. So I actually rushed the part about the menus and the level selection.
Thanks for your feedback, that's really nice!
Both of which should be simple, and was requested during testing, just slipped my mind!
