Some ideas for the final days to go out with a bang: 1- Unlimited spins, 2- Unlimited oil "fuel tank", 3-No fee trades 4- no fee tourneys. Heck, just #1 & 2 alone would make the last few days a blast for all the folks.
With the release of Kay-os there was a significant uptick in players. I assume antic even made some money (I spent some). How fun, players, tourneys, and then QM is down ... again... for days... Back down to 6 people playing. Is the game cursed? Or have you guys given up?
Sad to see it end. I encourage you to save player data if you can, and realize you still have a fan base for this game. If you can reopen, or sell... we are still here.
Dear Antic, I know you aren't continuing to update the game, but if you get a second please change the "Junk Wars Super Handy Tip #2, "Junk Wars get's updated regularly, be sure to come back often to see new goodies in Brokin." It just feels like a slap in the face.
Well, it's back up. And the new features are awesome!! Unless of course you were unlucky enough to lose your account, in which case all you will see is the maintenance screen. If that happens email antic@billisjustkidding.com
Let's do a little rough math: 476,000 registered users. 25 at tops on each day anymore. If all different users that means 175 current users. Chance of even one of them being lost less than 1/4 of one percent.
Of course they do it for money. My point in my original post is that is what is driving development or lack thereof. Petitions, hoping, and telling them how much we enjoy playing will not be the driving factor.

Important part of the article: "Even though "Junk Wars," found on FaceBook and Kongregate, didn't meet revenue expectations, it pays for itself and Antic uses it as a marketing tool, Liliegren said."
Guys, the truth is that Junk Wars has never met revenue projections. If you want the game to continue and be further developed the answer is money. If they saw this bring in the cash, they would be all over it!!
According to the Job boards, Antic is currently looking to hire someone to do maintain the server and other IT work. Hopefully this problem is just temporary.
