I'm playing with a somewhat broken touchpad since I don't have my mouse with me, and I got to the boss of the 3rd level, I KILLED the boss, but I died at the same time >.< so now I have to do the level over again.
I really hate mouse controls where the thing you're controlling is much slower than your mouse! I would have preferred an option to use keyboard controls.
I was going to play Picross E, and then I noticed it was after midnight in Kongregate time, so I went to see what the badge of the day was first. It's more Picross! Haha :)
For in-game achievements and tower levels, do survival mode. For the impossible badge, you can do survival, but you will get more gems per level if you never bank your gems, so you might as well just do arcade.
Ok, I remember now, definitely did get all the bandaids. I remember noticing some of the expert levels were designed specifically with the bandaids in mind. And now I've gotten them all again! Yay, my first Impossible difficulty badge!
It's too bad Newgrounds didn't have medals at the time this was made, because I THINK I got all the bandaids at the time, but I can't remember, and I can't check because I was using a different computer at the time. Either way, time to spend hours getting them all again! It's fun enough that, while frustrating, it will be enjoyable. :)
I wish the jump key weren't the same as the confirm key. I just died because I frantically jumped to a door, went in, and then immediately continued instead of banking gems because I was still pressing space.
You are a thoughtful, healthy, and quick fox. :) I gave up on finding the last mushroom (99/100!) but I remember 100%ing this game on Newgrounds, back when I visited NG every day. Thanks Badge of the Day for bringing me back to this game!
It was really frustrating thinking my jump key was unresponsive, until I realized it was because I was slipping on ice. I mean, it was still frustrating slipping on ice, but at least now I know what was happening.
Of course, putting all your points into attack isn't good for getting to level 10. That's just what you should do if you're only here for the easy badge.
Easy badge. Just furiously click on enemies unless you really need to block some fireballs, and try to kill several enemies at once if they're grouped up (charge at them). Put your points into attack for fast killing.
I can't find the guy who said he would tell me another way to get up if I killed 10 things. I wonder if I accidentally killed him. Oh well, I guess I'll do the gem ending.
