Feels like there's something fishy going on with enchanting. Based on circumstantial evidence, with no skill in blacksmithing I can reliably enchant black items to +2, green ones to +1. Blue ones disappear after first try with almost 100% certainty. All of those report I have the same chance of enchanting them, which seems to be false.
O...kay. How exactly is the total cash calculated? I mean, if I start with $15 left from the previous flight, get $139 flight cash, my total cash is... $135? What.
Except that's not SOPA. That's DMCA. Under SOPA/PIPA, if a single tile in the game was found to be violating someone's ¢opyright, you wouldn't have to censor/remove a thing (because that's what DMCA is about), the feds would just take away www.kongregate.com and lock it in a box somewhere.
And 5 - putting medkits in crates is a great idea for a game that does not involve breaking the crates accidentally within the first three seconds of a level, when the medkits are absolutely useless.
Welp. Not a bad idea, but the execution leaves something to be desired. 1 - the money distribution vs. danger is strange - why do I get 200 in a late level where I need to move around a lot even with good guns and lots of armour, and 3000 in an early level I can spam without touching the keyboard? 2 - rate of fire makes no sense - bursts for high level guns? I don't mind bullet hell games, but I need to spam bullets back, not hope that I manage to turn just right for the next burst to catch the enemy wherever they move. 3 - it would be nice to keep the money/xp earned even if you die - it serves no clear purpose other than annoying the player since there's no way to get better other than replaying the old levels. 4 - I have a suspicion that better armour/better hull don't actually do anything with your health.
Alright guys, I have a proposition for you - I will be giving you money on a regular basis, and you won't sleep on the job, 'kay? Anyone I catch sleeping will be fired. Anyone I catch gawking at the customers instead of doing their jobs will be fired. Look at Janet. Half the time I don't even know where she is, but the moment a customer checks out, she's there with her vacuum cleaner and before you know it, the room's spot clean. Well done, Janet.
Oh, and if you see a fire, for crying out loud, just grab a fire extinguisher and put it out. I'm looking into getting a firefighter come by tomorrow to show you how it's done, but... I mean, I can do it, and I've never had any formal training. And to tie it into that whole regular pay idea, any fire you extinguish will get you a nice bonus, 'kay?
It would be useful to know what the achievements are so that we don't have to spend five minutes twitching like crazy and then stop in front of the giant head or the laser thingy or whatever just to confirm that death by giant head is NOT an achievement. :( Otherwise, a solid 3/5.
