I think the game is bugging out for me, my guy is barely able to move and it took me almost 2 minutes just to get past the first tutorial because of it. Takes all my stamina to walk 1 screen away from my hut, don't think the game is playable like this and it's too frustratingly slow to keep trying.
Fun game, biggest complaint I have is that the gambling gets quite tedious once you find yourself with thousands of gold and only need to spend 15 per gamble. It would be nice if there was a more expensive gambling machine with stronger power-ups.
PSA: You don't get the completion badge if you finish the game on Expert, only works if you play on Normal. Pretty silly that they make you play the entire game again on a lower difficulty.
Gave up 80% of the way in. Normally I like these kinds of games with difficult platforming but I couldn't handle the bugginess of touching a wall completely screwing up the jump control and double-jump mechanics.
The easiest way to beat these is to cross your eyes. No, seriously, its the same concept as watching cross-eyed 3d videos. It can be difficult to adjust eyes at first, but once you do you'll see the differences blinking rapidly.
Also, I played with actual Guitar Hero controller and it worked great. I haven't had any problems with lag either, although I have a pretty good gaming computer. Hope to see more games like this in the future!
I agree with SoundFXMan, everything is great except the note charting. For one, if the notes are quantized they certainly don't look like it, as some are slightly behind the lines on the highway and some are slightly ahead while some are right on. Secondly the notes seem to jump around randomly without really following the pitches and chords of the song. Also there are some spots where there is no chart at all even though I can hear a guitar playing in the music. Usually it's a crazy guitar solo, which is the most fun part to play, at least when charted correctly ;)
Since magic spells replace your auto-attack when used anyways I would suggest making them an equippable item, causing them to auto-cast whenever your character would attack.
ok so there are over 100 people on the high-score table with over 1 billion points. Can't Kongregate do something about that, like maybe put a flag on their account so that they are banned from future high-score tables? Otherwise it's kind of pointless to even have it.
This is a problem with your browser. Try shift+refresh, or a different browser, or the exe version (see previous reply) if both of those fails.
