I like the game but its kinda buggy, Scrolling getting stuck. If I focus on a weapon it remains highlighted (as well as what I have equipped) no matter where I click. If I try to upgrade through the Blacksmith sometimes it won't let go beyond +4, it cycles back to zero. Keep refining and this will be a 5/5, right now, for me...3/5
Fascinating game! First you think, "OK, cute, but it doesn't do anything. Then the RED finally arrives and with it comes death. But fear not, life is eternal. Then power-ups. There is a true joy in the discovery. (5/5)
I think it's too hard to bring new ships up to par with the battles they are trying to face. You can't buy an advanced ship until the 4th Gate, by then all of the enemies they have to face can wipe them out in one or two shots. You should be able to repeat battles in easier levels so you can level up your new ships.
Sorry, don't like this game. Way too hard to control with the arrow keys. The whole race is a series of over-corrections. Maybe i just don't have enough fineness.
