I'm enjoying the game and am glad it's being constantly improved, but I've hit a bug: now when I rebirth, Augmentation stops working. At all.
Has anyone else had this problem?
(Further to the suggestion of merging spells & scrolls...)
You'd still want a scroll in a spell slot to use the full M.Pow bonus as spells do now. You may also (in any event) want to look at increasing both the sell-price and the upgrade cost of scrolls.
I've a suggestion for the way spells are handled in this game:
1. Allow scrolls to be equipped in the "Spell" slots.
2. Turn everyone's existing spells into scrolls.
(Spells are now just scrolls equipped in spell-slots, but will gain benefits from being a "known" spell...)
3. When a scroll in a spell-slot runs out of charges, it can still be cast at the full mana cost (double that of that for a scroll) giving the full effect as that of a scroll in a belt-slot.
4. M.Pow is added as a bonus to manufacturing speed for recharging a scroll in a spell slot.
This may help re-balance things for spell-casters without any adverse effect on those relying on scrolls.
