The game looks gorgeous and the music is amazing, but the lag is killing my patience for playing the game. Shame...a quality adjustment option would be great.
It wouldn't change anything, sadly. Quality adjustment only works with vectors. Try turning off hardware acceleration, though. I have an explanation for why that will fix it somewhere in the comments here...
@wastemy: Next time you complete the game, take a screenshot and contact Kongregate support. There's a "Report Missing Achievement" link in the lower-right corner of the achievement tab.
I feel a bit silly for asking but is there a way to change the quality? Right click menu and options don't seem to have anything and I'm having trouble with a slow computer right now. D: But it's a great game!
I have $35,000+, why on earth can't I buy a car with better handling? I enjoyed the game up to a point, but I'm giving 1/5 until this thing is more balanced. :/
I've always enjoyed the pen-and-paper version, and this pretty much lives up to it.
The gameplay is simple, just enough variety to have replay value. It's not too hard, even on challenging, and overall it only took me about maybe 15 minutes to get all the achievements. All in all, it's a good way to waste an hour.
I like the general concept, but the camera movement isn't jiving for me. If there's an option to change it, maybe I'll give it a try, but not now. I do like the sound effects though. :D
I've gotten all the achievements...is there an end to the game? No more upgrades, edge of the universe (I'm sure I've hit Jupiter by now), something? One thing I think I've learned is that the balloon up-power isn't worth it--you just run into bombs more quickly. u_u
