There is a really bad bug that allows enemies to walk past the castle near the top. If you can catch them in time, they walk off the stage and the game soft locks. Please fix this.
Bolt enhancement spell skill doesn't actually do anything. I get 12 bolts regardless of how many skill points I spend and it doesn't charge any faster. Anyone else experience this?
For level 10, try to set up a good offense at the beginning of the level. Then, as soon as the tank moves pass the range of a tower, pause the game, sell that tower, then build another one close to the tank. This process of building, using, and selling will help you keep constant fire on the tank. Also, it is very important to always have at least one tower with the ice enchant hitting the tank at all times.
@4gotmypassword you get fire and death by beating the normal levels. Since you are stuck at 10, you won't be able to get fire and death yet until you beat it and maybe some others.
The closest tower out of all combinations possible is the "artillery" tower. Nothing else comes close to a name with an acronym of "AoE"? So if anyone knows which tower this is, please tell me and, to confirm, which combination makes it.
@Quimper
What is an ice "AoE"? I can't find any towers matching that acronym. And about how many starting Doomsday did you use? I am having a hell of a lot of trouble with level 21.
Anyone can answer this question, too.
This game is absolutely beautiful! The attention to detail and completeness of this game shows a very mature and experienced game developer at work. Some of my favorite parts:
1. The recommended tab in inventory and fact that I can hover over items to see if they are better or worse for each player. Why the hell doesn't other RPG's have this?
2. Myriad of special moves and abilities that complement each other.
3. Movement order stack shown on right in battle.
4. Front and back line fighter placement.
If any game deserves a 5/5 it is this. Great work!
Just so people won't have to go looking for it, here is what BlackLoter said:
"What's the point in raising magic if spells cost %????? Whether I have 10 magic or 10000 magic nothing is going to change if the spells cost 30% and regen 2%... "
So, yeah, if anyone has an answer to this, let us know.
Also, the lag after boss fight is still there. Right after you kill the boss everything gets really slow and jerky even though the entire level up to that point is smooth.
Also, if you hover over a card and ANYTHING happens, the card display on the left goes away. You have to move the mouse away from the card, then back to it to get the display back. Leads to flashy, buggy behavior of the hover display.
Good game but two problems: Even though certain powers are grayed out in some rounds, you can still select and upgrade them (making accidents frustrating). The other thing is that my opponent is somehow able to cast cards with like 3 power required when they only have 1 max. How are they not under the same rules as me?
And I can't play around with the level creator in a guest account because...?
I'm not worried about letting others play my level, I just want to mess around and see what I can come up with. Surely I shouldn't have to create an account for that?
Oh and the idea about the permanent upgrades (maybe stuff like higher firing rate, damage, range, miners mine more, etc.) that will carry to all levels would be great.
To all those saying this game is too easy, mind giving me a few tips? I have beat all but the very last level on easy, beat about 11 normal, and 2 hard. Some just seem impossible on normal/hard and I always seem to get pwned when the opponent fighters come.
