Kreds aren't bad at all. They help the developers make more better games. At least everyone isn't paying for the whole game. They makes these for FREE. The ONLY time Kreds are bad is when you NEED to get Kreds to get better items in the game
I like this game a lot. The game mechanics are definitely different. I like how it's very RPG like for the hero's you put in. It's also a decent challenge too. The skill tree is pretty small, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. Hopefully in the next Born of Fires, it'll be more in depth with the leveling and skill tree. 9/10
I don't see why someone would hate this game. It's great! I love all the comments it has. They're all like the comments on here. And they're hilarious. Plus the achievements are fun and easy too.
Usually when I see the top comments, they're always not a comment that should be on the top, but this game, all of them are right. Kreds? Are you serious? I mean, I can see that you don't need them for the game, but come on! There goes the leaderboards. I do have to say though, this is one of the best TD games I've ever played.
wow, this was better than I thought it was going to be. At first I thought 52 levels was a lot, but I did it all in one play through. It was pretty easy, which honestly, made it fun. Some of the levels were pretty unique as well.
That was pretty fun. What I thought was great though, I had everything completed to the full and right as I finish the last level I get the hour achievement :>
It was a pretty good game. 4/5
353,804 on the first level (Hardcore). 1 Frost Tower again: LV: 19, Damage: 9112, 7 out of 20 lives. Didn't think that I could do this with just one tower. I added a fully upgraded Shock Tower and almost fully upgraded Flame Tower during Wave 50. Honestly, I don't think that they were even necessary. I mainly just did it to increase my score via achievements. That definitely brings a point up to revamp the game mechanics so things like this does not happen. Also, I'm not quite entirely sure on how this point system works. I mean, I virtually did the exact same thing (except for the additional towers) and got ~200,000 less.
517,371 on the first level. 1 Frost Tower; LV: 19, Damage: 9581, Slow: .075*Speed for 11 seconds. $29,960 ending cash. 16 out of 20 lives. 3 of them were me being dumb and putting the tower in a bad spot and 1 was because the tower decided that the last enemy is a higher priority rather than the first. I was very weary of trying the 1 tower challenge because it seems unreasonable. But really, it's not a challenge at all. Honestly, I thought the fully upgraded Sniper or Flame towers were the best, but the frost it. It might not have the best attack when comparing to those two, but since it slows the enemy down for multiple seconds, that makes up for it.
This game could use a good amount of work. There didn't seem to be any bad bugs other than trying the negative money bug. The math for the damage and leveling up should be tweaked with. It makes other towers obsolete. Also, a Sniper Tower that shoots faster than the best upgraded Machine Gun tower. Other than that, the game is fairly easy once you exploit those essential flaws. It's pretty much overwrites strategy. But I did have fun playing it and it definitely does have potential. 4/5
1.2billion height and 997m distance 16,000 kills. Could have kept going lol. It's really fun when it's maxed out. It's so easy though hahah. I had expected this game to be mostly luck based, but it's not. Once you get the necessaries maxed out, you can combo for forever (literally), Kick once, then you'll encounter 4ish ninjas by the time the height is either plateaued or going down. And since you hit 4 or more ninjas you're back at max power.
I also agree with Tren. That's one of the reasons why it was so easy. Also, if that was implemented, I would either make the ship smaller or make the hit box a lot smaller than the actual ship.
Not sure if this was the intention, but one of the main things I liked about this game was that I could finish it in one sitting. I do like the Flash game that does make me work towards the end of it, but I also do like games where I can play it and finish it fairly quickly. If this was the intention, hats off to you since I haven't played a game fully in one sitting. I can see this both as a positive and a negative, but I played one or two levels twice and still go to the last boss with all the upgrades and all the achievements. Something that I would fix if there is another one is that Shockwave reload time. When it's maxed out, you use it and by the time it's done, it's already halfway loaded.
Overall though, decent game. Could use work, but it's good where it's at now.
For as simple and somewhat unoriginal the game is it's fun. I had a great time playing it and the achievements are pretty simple to get, so that was also a plus.
