A few more things: #I feel like the duration of buffs/debuffs/shield spells is not high enough. If you, for example, have a "leadership" specialist, he will spend half the time casting those buffs instead of actually fighting, which defeats the purpose of having those buffs in the first place. # Make summons in the arcane magic recastable, they die pretty easily and even if they do not, they automatically disappear after some time.....almost a waste of an ability point.
4) Allow us to build our own teams.....but leave the random option available. I like to roleplay in these types of games and if I want, for example, a team of two mages and a cleric, I have to go through countless rerolls to find the right combination, particularly if I want them to have the appropriate stats as well.
5) Allow us the option to pick/distribute stats of the party. If I am building a pure mage, he does not need strength....etc.
6) New game+ would be awesome. And/or start over in new game (harder difficulty), but with the same group of heroes retaining their skills+abilities+gear.
Really love the game, but there are a few critical things that could be improved:
1) Allow multiple saves of the same game. The first few times I played, it was very difficult to figure out which skills/abilities are good, which are bad, and which synchronize well together. Not being able to see the abilities before investing point into the skill tree made that even more difficult.
2) Add an option to reskill your character/party. Right now, if you make a mistake (like giving your melee attackers more than 1 magic spell) you are stuck with it. And it isn't even something you know is a mistake until you make it (due to the way the AI works).
3) There are enemies in the game, which, unless you have an exact counter against them, it is super difficult to defeat them (3x succubus for example). Knowing this in following games either forces you to try and build a certain team, or make different one, knowing that you cannot defeat those enemies unless you get lucky.
@A_SREROIDS yup I no longer get those "can't reach the game server" messages. Have another bug to report though, it happens when I get matched with a specific player's [Sophie] specific robot "Sophie" the Ginga-3000 model. When I lose (not sure what happens when I win), is that the match does not end. The opponent's Ginga is just standing there and the loss screen does not pop-up. Need to refresh the page to "fix" it.
Thank you for previous replies dear developers! Figured I would let you know that I (and several members of our clan, so it is not an isolated incident) have been frequently getting the following message after the fight: "Can't reach the game server, please check your internet connection". Sometimes it takes the energy spent for the fight, sometimes it doesn't, but it sure is an annoying occurrence. Given the frequency and the number of people effected, I am pretty sure it is not our internet connection that is the problem.
Is there an ongoing update? I can't log-into the game from Kongregate. Using the same browser, nothing seems to have changed really, but it tells me "steelchamps.com took too long to respond" and a frowny face.
1) Need to make user friendly menu for equipment and heroes.
-a- give some sorting options for equipment: by rarity, by effect etc.
-b- allow to sell whole equipment stacks. Better yet allow "bulk sale". Something like a little checkbox on the equipment icon that you can click on every piece you would like to sell and then sell them all at once.
-c- something along the same lines for heroes. Currently the hero order keeps changing and I can't figure out why and there is no option to change it.
There was a known server issue on May 27th, which we fixed. Do you still get this message a lot?
