I wanted to give it 4 or 5 stars, even despite the grindyness and repetitiveness, after all it's a common problem of all launcher games to some extent. But being served with ads suggestion every now and then when I'm supposed to be "lucky", and having a watch not registered from time to time, getting to watch the same two ads, one of which is 5:00 long (!!! yeah, reward is supposed to be awarded for watching at least some part of it, but it's still a hell after a bunch of repetitions) - which don't even help THAT much - that's simply outrageous.
What a journey it was! Now that was something that reminded me how awesome browser games can be... Great job! Wonderful story, beautiful art, lovely characters, I enjoyed every minute of it. Perfect 7/5 :) I'll be waiting for the next chapters!
There were many ptw mmo's last years getting badged but amount of cash-grabbing in this one is extraordinary. Mechanics of the game are pretty standard and quite unimaginative. 'Beautiful hand-drawn art and rich lore'? I haven't noticed neither, to be frank. If those lazily written dialogues between battles constitute mentioned 'rich lore' then we have really different understanding of that term.
And yeah, amount of time i need to get to medium badge is ridiculous.
PS. When would developers learn to stop using locale to choose default language for users? Is it so hard to ask for preferred language on the first run?
Beautiful! There's definitely not enough games of this genre in here) Also, the dialogues were quite good and the plot was enjoyable. I'd agree, however that the debates should be tougher, also maybe more kinds of investigation could be incorporated into the gameplay. Just make it feel a bit more a game, add some challenge to it, maybe. Other than that, I really liked it. Keep up the good work!
Wow, Ocsa, does the fact that it's few months less old than 8 years change anything for you? also, it has a decent fanbase and was given best of 2008 status by kong which pretty much gives me right to call it a classic flash game of kong. also, amorphous+ was slightly remastered version of amorphous which was released on newgrounds in may 2007 actually.
Oh, gosh. People, what lag you're speaking of? As a person who achieved 60-pointer years ago on an old and mediocre rig I can say it was perfectly playable back then. Tried it now and haven't experienced any lags either. Come on guys, the game is 8 years old! Nobody is going to try to fix the game this old for you. Just accept it as a classic flash game it is. It IS awesome still
All right, i have a mail, telling me i am cut off water, my work is awful, i'm so angry that while something tells me i have to greet my neighbor nicely and properly, i just tell him to [censored] off... Next day, my water is gone already, my boss tells me i'm fired... When I get home, i see Jim is dead already, so this time i told him to burn in hell. Imagine my surprise on day 3... Damn, i really was scared that everything was brought to me by my poor life choices
Yep, kingjoeshmoe is quite right, but i'd add that best combo for powerful red is maxed wasp hull, best engine, turbo and powercell and switch to power in bonuses (S4 bonus). After that, spam turbo to get to 500 asap (don't forget that b5 nova lets you use energy for turbo after you've used up all your charges). If possible aim for speed or turbo bonuses/
Very nice game, i liked art, music, dialogues, plot and most of the gameplay. Flying enemies were kind of annoying, i admit. Some advice for the boss fight: as NeverMyth pointed out, hit and run tactics are good for it, as the boss delivers quite a punch, and is usually surrounded by heavy hitting giants. However, don't let the `run` part last for too long, you want to hit him then kill some mobs around, hoping for a bonus drop like elemental companions or regen. Those are really useful for finishing the job. Also, it's recommended you grind a bit for top equipment, full primary skill tree and useful parts of secondary skill trees. Hunting for in-game achievements helps a lot.
Ah, great, another crappy MMO on Kong getting badges, and one more game to use Unity when it is absolutely unnecessary. Gosh, can't wait till FF finally discontinues Unity WP support.
Also, you shouldn't choose game language for the players whatever country they come from. It is disrespectful and annoying. At least include some controls for that in options.
Wow, this was adorable! What great and creative kids you have, Mr. Bonte. I wish they'd carry on with creating great stuff for people, just like their father! PS. And special thanks for your choice of Pyotr Ilyich! Souvenir de Florence is a really beautiful piece.
"If your game freezes, try refreshing your game page"
How convenient it is that the game really does freeze quite frequently... But don't get me wrong, i by no means want to say that those freezes could be put there intentionally to ramp up plays count. Certainly not. Because every developer knows, game freeze problems are totally unsolvable
*SPOILER ALERT* In case, someone is stuck with poker game and is unable to ask Mylenda about Mentzen -> you probably need to try asking him about Morax again (even if you have done so in the beginning)
Very mediocre bullet hell game. Boring, monotonous, with bad upgrade system. But the thing i hated the most were the pets. Usually when similar elements are introduced into bullet hell games, they get the simplest animation possible (like circling around your hero or similar) and the plainest graphic representation (like glowing orb/stone). The way your pet is done here is always confusing (at least for a player like me), as it is moving on their own towards the player, so unconsciously a player is always checking if that's a monster charging towards you. That makes it a serious distraction for aiming. Please, don't ever make such a mistake in your games...
Ouch! So i was already going to win the game, fighting with this guy with rats and group attack, and *Bang* he attacks, and game falls into an infinite loop, with orange meter refilling endlessly. I reload and get 'No sava data!' message when i try to load game. That's kinda sad, i'd say...
Other than that, yeah, i liked the game, it was awesome...
Thanks for the vote of confidence. Its more valuable than any five star ratings. :D
