This game could shape up to be great..so long as they tend it right.
Reserve tokens for high-end equipment and cosmetics for example.
A lot of stepping stones are missing, you cant even finish the tutorial without tokens.
The gems alone take up all the available space and upgrading more cost huge amounts of money or tokens for just 1 new row.
You cant sell minerals that take up space in your mineral storage.
It needs better certifications, i wouldnt bother upgrading items that are only temporary, etc..
Lots can be done in this regard.
Seeing behind walls would be another thing to add as explosions tend to propagate and darn it, you just hit that hidden explosive rock.
However, they game does grow on you..its different, and a good kind of different.

I know you need income, but pay2win can also drive customers away.
Just create a good environment and offer incentives and cosmetics and the rest will come.
