I did in 94 seconds in my very first try with a shitty mouse (it's wireless, so it's heavy). I'm not sure what's the fuss all about...? I'm sure it might be a pain in the ass (but still, 26 seconds more than I took?), but what are mouse users complaining about?? This badge is in no way fitting for a Medium.
The addition of windows truly ruined the game. If you're going fast enough, it's possible that a window appears in such a position that the only possible way to get through it would be to have jumped BEFORE it even showed up, and that is a FATAL flaw in this game. Impossible scenarios appear elsewhere, too, with the metallic bombs falling down - you need to jump them to survive, right? But sometimes, even if you jump in the lowest possible way - you'll still fall of the edge of the building. Another case is when you get slowed down by a box (and that might be unavoidable for obvious reasons) and then you can't jump to the next building, even if you jump at the last possible frame. The game fails at its very basic core, and for that I give it a 2/5.
I absolutely adore this game! It's a great Flash counterpart of the Touhou series, with wonderful graphics and ingenious gameplay - I would even go as far as to say that this game is one of flash gaming's finest masterpieces, it's the best top-down shooter out there, after all! I would have enjoyed if there were a badge for S-ranking all 24 levels, but nonetheless it was a wonderful experience. This game definitively is one of my favorites, as you may have guesses by now, and deserves a FULL 5/5!!
It's funny how this game gives the false impression to people that they actually know jack shit about Flash games. The answers are right there at the screencaps - rare are the cases in which you actually have to know something beforehand - but maybe this is the reason why the game was badged. Since you don't need actual knowledge, the game is timeless, so even when all those games get obsolete, this quizzical game will continue being easy. Regardless of it being a characteristic that qualifies this game for badges, I stand with my opinion that it's a brutal fault in this game - it's analogous to having a maths-quiz game with a calculator built-in the game. Otherwise, the graphics, HUD, sound and achievements system are all very well implemented - for that I will give this game 3/5. Perhaps a Hard mode with non-obvious images? I think it would be a great improvement to the game!
The missions are pretty confusing, the energy system is extremely obnoxious early on, the gameplay is aggravatingly slow until you get the last drill. It doesn't even get points for being relaxing because of the damn energy system I just made reference too. Overall not a very good game - an unoriginal concept executed very poorly. There isn't even an adventure-esque feel that mining/exploring games should game - this game deserves nothing more than a 2/5.
The ending was very... anti-climatic! I really liked the design of this game, except for the fact that, on later bosses, there's too much shit on the screen! I always got hit by yellow bullets I didn't even know were there :P Otherwise, a great game. 4/5 from me.
This game is pretty entertaining! I loved the original concept and the very well-built maze. I'm not sure if I should feel relieved or angered by the game's short lenght. If it was longer it would surely be much more mind-boggling and frustrating, but on the other hand the game IS pretty fun and it would be good to have more of it! 4/5 from me :)
