This game does very little hand-holding, but once I figured out the way things worked I started really enjoying it. And then I looked at the clock and realised I'd been playing for two hours straight. Great job on this game.
I think it would be excellent if we had some sort of Capture the Flag mode. Heck, any of the staple FPS games would work in the "Vorp!" set-up with some tweaking. Capture the Flag, Wingman(five teams of two,) King of the Hill (Get in the ring and stay in it, push other people out) Capture the Leader, Team Deathmatch (JUST kills) and so on. I can easily see all of those game modes being a huge success on "Vorp!" because it lets people use the ships they already know in different ways. What "Vorp!" is lacking right now (Aside from an enormous playerbase and a more reliable matchmaking system,) is variety, and though you can always add new ships, the one game mode we have limits the way we can use those ships. Clank would be an excellent flag carrier, and Shino would be a sick flag returner. Jabber would murder in King of the Hill, and so on and so forth. Please, give it some consideration, I love this game, but it's getting sort of stale.
Aside from the usual comments about new maps, and the matchmaking making things unfair, I'd like to say that it would be wicked cool if we could have skirmish sorts of battles (Like a sandbox) where we get to choose both sides of the teams (Think Wargames in WoW)
I love this game, such polish.
AoE Grinding technique. Kitlid Lightwielder, put a ton into willpower and lay your Swarm Area and your light circle over each other and pull a mob into it. Use your sword to catalyse their deaths, but you'll never go down and you can take out the bigger ones faster with your single target swarm.
For you idiots saying its impossible to get more than a 25 killstreak I have a quick recipe. Go into "Quick Games" and select "Elimination" set the lives to 25, set the people to 9. 9 X 25 is what? Anyone? 225. You COULD have a 225 killstreak, if you killed off EVERYONE, didn't die, and no one killed each other. So... blow it out yer ass.
