At prestige level 3, it seems like there needs to be some kind of way to grind merges. Is there any way to add an ability at this point that automatically breaks any blocks above a certain level? Maybe give it it's own timer like spawns and fusing, and you have to upgrade it to make it worth using.
All bugs: magic doesn't increase from any source, fire doesn't increase from hydra, vampire skill triggers even when attack was dodged, wind and water elementals give way too much damage per kill (increased my damage from 6 to 106 after clearing both), typos (elementar > elemental, oger > ogre)
Constructive criticism:
- enemies not telegraphing attacks before they happen ( leads to unfair deaths )
- too much momentum for a platformer game requiring precise jumps ( first laser level and level with falling blocks show this most )
- stuck at start of level until pressing jump key ( bug? )
If the other comments are any indication, you should consider taking the time to improve the game before moving on to the next one.
Suggestion for improvement: If more than one finishes the race, the first two should be considered as the source for the next generation. That way, if the previous best was simply lucky, it won't wreck your progress to easily.
Rofl. This one actually managed to have a working microtransaction system in place before even having the ability to save the status of those purchases. Absolutely shameless cash grab.
Hello Brandon816, sorry you're having issues. In order to save you must click the save button located in the menu and wait 5-10 seconds for it to fully save. In the very near update, there will be an indicator to thoroughly show this.
I'm really not sure how the ranking for this game is lower than some idle games that were thrown together in a week or two. Whatever, great game. This Metroidvania meets puzzler style is interesting.
@sirspikey - Because of the way you earn points towards a level up on reset, you can actually keep earning more points beyond what the level up would need and just have it apply to your next level up. That would be the only reason not to reset whenever you get a level up.
It's a nice game, but I feel that it doesn't want me to play it. I managed to get to the third round (barely, with a fourth clue), and I actually only get 1 single clue to work with on that third round, and 10 people to work with.
Just wanted to bring up something that looks like a bug. I just used a speed-up VII, and it only reduced a cumulative total of about 1600 minutes (from ~35 to ~15 minutes on 80 buildings). If it's going to be so expensive, please make sure that it actually works correctly.
@ramjr, The items you buy are with in-game resources. No micro-transactions exist, at least right now. @MikeyMcMike, Are you sure the ships aren't building? Right now, for me anyway, their build time just seems to not be taken into account. Check your army tab to see if they are there or not.
@gijsgijsgijs - To upgrade multiple things at once, either select a square of buildings using S+click+click, or all of one type of building using D+click. Pressing E afterwards not only lets you upgrade multiple buildings at once, but can also queue multiple levels. Pressing ESC cancels the selection.
If the game gets too laggy like it did for me, just reload the page after checkpoints. Apparently the game starts chewing through CPU after awhile, at least on Chrome.
