I'm running Chrome. The controls work damn near flawlessly for me, the auto-save is awesome, and lag is occasionally present when action is extremely heavy.
5/5. I'm shooting for a higher spot on the leaderboard, even well past level 1000.
Things that could be a little better:
*better gun variety (it seems how much money I spend on a weapon is directly tied to how useful it is - the chaingun seems to be the only useful gun after a certain point, and the use of anything else is discouraged)
*more stuff for skill points (after level... I forget, I was completely out of stuff to spend my skill points on. Eliminating skill points after that level or adding more changeable stuff wouldn't stress my OCD so much.
*A little context (I'm perfectly happy with this game as a shoot 'em up zombie game, but there is so much potential I had to mention this)
As far as stabilizing your group of survivors at the start, I recommend searching immediately for plenty of farms and at least one hospital. Once your food intake is higher than the number of survivors, you should start looking for a laboratory and researching every upgrade you can. Having a school to train your guys in science/leadership doesn't hurt either. Suburbs I only focus for when I'm nearing the population cap or if I need to go through one to reach a different building.
I'm going to be extremely careful with Churches now... around day 150 all but five of my fifty guys killed themselves. What happened to the last five? They were all killed by a zombie attack that same night... ****!
I really like the game, although I would like to see achievements (Perhaps for purchasing all of the upgrades?) and some additional maps would add variety.
I would also like putting up accuracy upgrades for purchase using EXP - it's kind of a pain when I can only count on two out of fifty bullets hitting a zombie at far distance.
Also, I think helping survivors would be less of an unnecessary hassle if they could wield guns, and even more if I could point them toward the fort.
I really like the game, however.
