Known bug? I have Runeweavers and I had all four slots for Ranged generals filled before I got Ariala. I manually place Ariala in an Intellect slot and all is fine. Then, if I clear the legion and auto-assign, Ariala is placed in a Ranged slot and the general that was in this slot is naturally no longer in the legion. Additionally, I cannot scroll down on the generals after I placed Ariala correctly.
Please remove the popups which tell you that you are fighting a garrison or locals in player conquests. At least offer the choice to turn off all such prompts (including the one which tells you that you conquered land or were too late for it). This saves 3 clicks per conquest. Other than that, the latest update is great. =)
Two things that bug me about creating/editing squads: 1) Only one row of cards is visible at a time. That means constant scrolling and each row has to load first. Which I suspect is the reason for this. 2) Not being able to remove cards from other squads without disbanding/editing the other squad. Sure, you want us to have tons of cards to get around that problem...
Follow-up question in relation to the last one: Does Sourcerous Spinach work, at all? The buff is not shown. If it is a buff. I noticed other effects that are not shown as buffs. I forgot which one it was.
I heard that the Weakening Shot bug was fixed. I don't know exactly what the bug did (only playing Z3 for a couple days now), but I noticed something that might be the bug? Damage done is sometimes (not all times) reduced to 0 instead of 1. The buff bonus is the same as damage I have done. There are no buffs on either side which could cause this. Although I also noticed that some buffs are simply not shown, like Sorcerous Spinach?
There seem to be two typos regarding Tree of Life. Both the item Seed of Life and the Pollen from TOL describe the TOL generated from them as a 0/4 TOL. But it's always a 0/3 TOL, isn't it? I did not check use the SOL, but pretty sure Pollen has always turned into 0/3 TOL.
BUG? I have 2 issues, the first easily explained, the second is a mystery to me: 1) The buff is still active after I played a non-Light card. Can't make sure from the description, but it's likely that it's meant to be some kind of curse and the next Light card will trigger 3 cards to be depleted and make it go away, otherwise it stays. 2) I played Lesser Destruction and depleted 4 (which I already don't understand, as it only depletes 3). Afterwards I depleted ANOTHER 3 cards, apparently from the same Lesser Destruction...no second instance was depleted, no buffs active on the opponent or myself, except for Galba's Bite.
@kilo Same here. Didn't get into Tyrant, at all. No, the mechanics are different in Tyrant. This is certainly not a copy. I am not a huge collective card buff (only ever played Magic)...I am not sure if these mechanics are novel, but I like them. However, Clash of Heroes is the same as Tyrant, as far as mechanics are concerned (which are the same as in Magic, AFAIR?). But I really like that game, currently... There seems to be a theme with "Clash" here.
I have to say, the story is well-written. I like the mechanics. Not complaining, but I am currently grinding the first chapter, just clicking cards, with no challenge at all. I guess the fun is in the multiplayer?
Now I reached the point of arithmetic overflow and I have negative gold. :D Eh, I no longer care about this game and neither does the developer, I guess. I should still be ascending with this character, but it just won't happen and I don't see a good reason for why it doesn't. The game obviously doesn't have a lot of consistent rules and tons of bugs. I'm turning it off. :|
Alright, found it on the boards. Thanks to Xentos! It's the Eye of Wealth. That does it. That should put some HEAVY variance on the later challenges I wanted to do, when spells become ever more important. Either get that eye or literally play "blind".
Ok, now I see...I am at another machine now, playing the game here. Now it doesn't work. The chests don't show anything but a generic "consumable or equipment". At the other game, I can see the item class, based on which slot it uses or consumable or spell. I guess I must have an item in the game on the other machine, which does it. Neat. I suspect it is one of the eyes, because I got tons of them in that run. I will try to figure out what it is and report back. I keep learning, here!
...just because there could have been a potion in it or - most importantly - a healing spell. I still use healing whenever I can in the current challenge. Next one, I will not use any potions, so it's vital that I find those spells soon, then.
@Mageofcats I am not sure, if you are responding to me...you should do it like I just did and address somebody. Just in case you were talking to me: 1) No, the game is easy if you use everything it offers, especially if you sell items. But I'm running a bunch of challenges, taking away one advantage in the game for each one. Right now, I am not selling items and not grabbing money bags. I get gold through battles, only. It was still not that hard, if I hadn't screwed it up... 2) Like I said, chests tell you "what kind" of treasure is in there...consumables, weapons, and so on That helps a lot with planning. I used to open all chests I could reach by taking 20-40 dmg (depending on level) from one monster per chest.
How long did it take you, until you noticed that you can click the chests and it tells you what kind of treasure is in there? Wow. I feel stupid, now. I can now go mostly for weapons and consumables and those important healing spells. That should make it a lot easier. Especially since...I messed up the challenge. Forgot to save and just closed the browser. I was in the 70's with at least 1 big health potion, now back to 59...just great. =( Guess now I have to add a "couple" more wings to this thing. *sigh*
So...people didn't like me commenting on my latest run that I got 5 eyes out of 7 artifacts. I got 3 more. :D That's 8/10 artifacts, nothing but eyes. I wouldn't call it too unlucky, though. I got swords after that, which helps A LOT with this challenge. Barely playing atm, 6 wings, back at shop lvl 39. For those, who don't hate me saying this. ;) It's very hard at first to break the habit of getting those money bags...immediately screwed up by getting the very first bag and restarted. --- I LOVE this game now. It really lends itself to starting those kinds of challenges.
@Young_Rutiger Cheaters are not removed from the highscore boards. I guess you had a daily or weekly score and that day/week was over when you didn't find your score, again.
Thanks Brax! We corrected the typos.
