It's kind of cute how the game lets you buy gold for kreds, but fails to consider the fact that item prices rising with level means that around item level 300 each item ends up costing upwards of 2000 kreds. Kind of.
oblivion13, the point of gold is simply that you can spend it using the healing skill. There aren't any shops or anything, so treat it as health potions. By the way, the mushroom cave is EASIER than the desert, despite being further away. A little bit misleading, that.
...well, having played a little more after the endgame, a few more thoughts. First, no way to go back and play a new game? WHAT?! Am I missing something really obvious here? Second, nothing to do after defeating the final boss except do it again...? That's more standard, but still... :/ Third, on my previous comment I said top left spell, but I meant top right spell. Whoops.
I was about to quit after the game glitched out and I had to refresh, but as the guy said, if you refresh then when you leave the dream at the start you end up pretty much where you would be if you died (I had to re-fight a few enemies and put my equips on again, but that's not a big deal).
It's extremely easy to accidentally miss equips and runes (I didn't find the black cape until I was grinding because of failing a boss - I mean, seriously? That's a bit too out of the way.), and with not being able to go back to the starting area towards the endgame that can be painful... what's the spell in the top left, by the way...?
Anyway, 5/5 and kudos for having the sense to add an autosave. However, a couple of the bosses (the ones with spammier attacks) seem to be very, very easy to fail by not getting the first blow. ...This comment is way too long, I just had a lot to say. :/
Could the Load Game button, if clicked after the endgame but before you start a new game, still load the game, possibly in a kind of endless mode? Would be kind of nice.
Could there PLEASE be an experience bar? Or could someone tell me where it is?
I know you can look at the Char screen, but that just gives you a current/required.
