If you're having issues claiming the badge, make sure to defeat the 'avoidable' cube enemy on the left in level 24. There's no need within the level, but the badge didn't register for me until I went back and defeated it.
As a tip for a slightly faster play, make the first thing you use water on the roots in front of the cave to the immediate right of the house. This will cut down on some back and forth
Once you understand the basic enemy types, it's not too bad, since you can get 20-30 lives before the harder bosses. Dragging along the ground lets you focus fire pretty efficiently.
Fantastic game! I much prefer the mobile version as you can drop in and out of games. The shop does exist, but there's no need! Everything in game can be earned, pretty reasonably too. The alchemist takes a bit of effort to get for free, but they're an extremely unique class.
To all those saying the BotD is hard, here's a tip: The pirates only come from the right, and strength depends on your percentage. You can have an enormously beefy right safety net while largely just allocating the left for mining.
If you haven't played before, do stay, it's fantastic. I'd even recommend buying it on Steam JUST for the soundtrack (Although if you like the game, the offline save and play that steam offers is fantastic)
Loving it so far! Just one note...For some reason, the first time I finished off a branch of the upgrade tree, nothing happened with the little TV. The second time, I selected the kongpanion and such without any problems, but the first is a fully upgraded tree with a static tv at the end.
I don't know if it still works, but on the earlier releases of this game (notdoppler released it about a week ago), you could click on the achievements from the Master of War, and it would reward you them. Because of this, Master of War could be unlocked -extremely- early.
I was wondering, on the properties bar, could you possibly...A: Add properties like 'flaming' or 'healing' so that if I bash a dummy with a healing chair, it will heal any wounds I hit, because why not. And B: Make a toggle so that the properties tab will either apply to all objects spawned after the change, or just the properties of that one object. If either of these are a bit crazy to code, I can definitely understand if you say they aren't possible.
Just out of curiosity, how does the sticky effect WORK? I noticed that if you make an object sticky AND breakable (or just cut it), the pieces attract to one another and eventually start moving/flyingaroundthescreenohmygodwhatishappening without force being added.
Definitely -seems- like a bug, but curiosity makes me ask what's happening.
It creates a bunch of weak invisible joints on contact which might mess up when they conflict with each other (each joint wants to be length X, but others keep pulling on it, causing them to eventually go mad). I'll see if I can tweak it at some point.
Amazing game, especially in the later levels. I was just a bit sad with the ghost sniper, as it's -completely- overpowered. The explosive piece can destroy most anything in 2-3 shots, including the final boss (6 MAX), and disassemble allows you to just throw any damage out the window.
Any way you could code it so our mobile profiles are transferable to the desktop version? My mobile is decked out, but this guy I've come back to and he's totally empty.
Overall, just an amazing game. I figured I'd slave over some surveys to get the kreds for the premium content, and it's totally worth it! I loved Demonic Invasion (even if it was a little short), and the bonuses/quests it adds to a normal save are great. I'd take those surveys if you can, the content is definitely worth it.
Oh wow I didn't know Kongregate had alternate ways of getting Kreds. This is my first game with Premium Content so I wasn't expecting a large number of purchases but it's actually been going pretty well. Thanks to everyone for your support! :)
New properties are definitely doable, I'll see what I can do once things clear a bit.
