Sorry about that, the menu bug appears very randomly, the menu almost always functions normally but sometimes it is bugged for some reason :S
Please refresh the page if you experience this bug.
I updated the game again, the long story mode has been removed, I resized the text in the intro, made some small changes in the enemy AI and made some other changes that make the game work just a little bit smoother at certain points.

Yes, strange bug... I now booted the game 40 times or so and i just had it for the first time...
I don't have any idea how I can possibly solve it.
Uploading new version now, fixed 2 bugs and increased attack speed of enemies a little bit.
Did a small update according to the feedback i got here.
I fixed the sound bug in the menu, it's a little bit darker ingame, I increased the movespeed and you can see what weapon you're using.
The main menu seems to work ok here.. only thing is that the music starts playing twice if you go to about/quit and then press back to menu, I'm trying to fix that now.
Are there any other bugs you experience in the main menu?
About the Full story mode.. it's indeed way too long :P My teammate seemed to like writing stories -.- and made it a little bit too long :P
I'll try playing with the settings of the darkness or maybe changing the enemy AI.
The collisions indeed don't really work perfectly, I'm also going to try to fix it but I still have to learn much :P

About the darkness in the level, i'm not really sure what to now.. i have people saying that I should make it darker and people that already find it too dark.
I agree that te default walk speed may be a little bit slow, I'll change that soon.
About the shotgun, only the sound and the bullet damage changes, we didn't had enough time left for making some sort of thing that shows you which weapon your using, so I think I'll work further on this game myself and fix things like that and add some other levels.
Sorry i'll try to fix it, indeed doesn't get past mature sign if you don't press play.
It does work on my pc in flash player but somehow it doesn't work here :S
