Alright! I found all the notes. For anyone who hasn't found or can't find the notes, here is what the message says.
"I first encountered this phenomenon in the early 80's, but it would seem They have existed since the dawn of the human race. Commonly known as the Night Folk, or Shadow People, They live in the realm of dreams but desperately want to get to our realm, by possessing vulnerable, unoccupied bodies. As long as you don't know you're dreaming, you're safe... They attack when they sense a mind has detached from its body, which sometimes happens during comas, but much more often during OOBEs and Lucid Dreaming.
I almost found all the notes, but then I couldn't find where to grab the thread at, and couldn't continue. I know it involves finding the scarecrow in the forest, but I can't find it.
Pretty great game! I enjoyed seeing all the different famous horror movies and games put together in this one.
Slenderman, and The Ring are the two biggest ones that stick out, but the classroom.. is that Silent Hill? Or a nod to Resident Evil's classroom scene?
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I'm keeping myself busy through battle, but at the second league match the difficulty is way to hard. The tip "Upgrade your units" isn't helpful, due to the lack of opportunities to earn crystals. As well, it looks like the unit upgrades don't have any impact. I've purchased the "increased firing speed" for the archers, but they don't shoot any faster than before.
I quit.
Got up to level 25+, nothing to do but sit around, pleasing some virtual people with faulty movement commands, with a broke-as-hell pvp system.. this game is hardly worth playing. Con Artists had me with the Last Stand series, but it saddens me for them to use that name in this game.
The hit boxes in this game is way too messed up. And fighting 100+ enemies at once causes the game to lag considerably. How about instead fighting 50 at a time, or some odd number like that?
It's a fairly decent game, but as stated hundereds of times before (and I KNOW you read them) a sell/destroy button is essential.
One of the problems with this game is that with a couple of upgrades, it's too easy to win by spamming bombers and interceptors. The AI doesn't plan anything for a long term battle. And though Some people (coughjarekcough) thinks that losing your main base prevents you from building more, the constructor building will allow you to continue building units.
The only Over Powered unit is the Rocket Turret. Though you can see his range, the missles/rockets seem to literally continue flying in that specified direction, and the rockets fired are incredibly too many. Reduce the count to 4-6 rockets, and have them automatically detonate within a certain range, or remove them all together.
This game could be SO much better if it weren't for all the lag (even on low quality) due to the MASSIVE amount of obstructions in the game. There is quite literally too many objects on the screen. 3 blimps at once hovering about 5k feet over the launch platform? 2 planes and a helicopter flying into each other making a wall covering half the game screen? How about a blimp caught inside a boost? You had a good idea for a game, but you blew it by having no obstruction control.
You also ruined it when you decided that even nicking an object should instantly make your rocket do a 180 degree turn and have it get caught on a small pixel.
As well, if you're going to do a rocket based game like this, have it be more believable. Blimps, planes, and helicopters should NOT be over a launch pad. Thunderstorm clouds: ok. Saucers: ok. Air show planes: not ok.
This could have been a great game, but it seems too incomplete in the way of unit stats and unit variety. In some unit descriptions units are listed as an "Anti-Tank squad" but I have yet to see any tank or armored units. On that note, units that should have an armor rating have 0 listed. In fact, all units have zero armor ratings, even after I have unlocked every unit available through research, including the mech-units (third tier).
