This game would be great, but in late game if you don't shoot the squids, the purple guys that follow you, or the carriers, and kill everything else, eventually you'll have all the on-screen units as the slow following guys. You can only have so many enemies on screen at one time. After that, it's like farming. Kill one or two every once and a while to get points and pixels, and you can kill them at your leisure.
So... you're a pirate flying on a sword, fighting kitties, bushes with eyes, evil butterflies, and other completely random senseless creatures. Really, there's nothing wrong with having an underlying theme. I promise.
