Realizing that graduate actually cut off alot of different things that i was unaware of till its far too late. Graduation locks out all Tournaments and Dr. Monster, and it looks like it locked off a few other things that i cant remember what they were in the City. Graduation should really list that it locks off a bunch of options because now im just missing out in my run, and last hard save was 2 weeks of progress back.
Something to fix for descriptions, Graduate should state it removes the option to do all tournament fights. just graduated and now i cant finish the remaining tournament fights i had left.
having an issue where random materials just disappear right after i get them, currently every time i get chicken it just vanishes and i have no clue why, there are no allies causing me to lose it, and during quests it doesnt seem like anything is consuming them so not sure whats up. i have noticed this similar event happen with other materials as well for seemingly no reason.
ive noticed for some things that are choice based there is no information on what that choice is going to do or effect, such as your "class" split just has the name but no apparent benefit or difference other than name. But other choices like "avoid the slums" and "Keep going to the slums" causes a split as well but you dont know what the effect is till its permanently made.
@Etax You need to have Norn (aka the girl) land the finishing blow on 10 wolves, its kinda tough but it means you need yourself or another creature at the top of the party while she is last so she survives long enough to try and kill a wolf
So tips for lvl 15 if you are having trouble, its not hard since its fairly simply telegraphed. As each 1/4 of health drops it has a clone and speeds up, so dealing stead damage becomes a bit harder. the simplest way to attack is when its main is on either left or right, especially during the final phase. if you sit in a lower corner the shots from top and bottom dont reach, but the side attacks have a gap big enough in the middle to slip through. just take it slow, dodge the boss itself, and then just weave through the sideways attacks once they pass 2/3s across the screen. i beat it with lvl 5 damage, fire rate, and movement. it took me 3 tries, and once i learned its attack pattern it was simple
I think some players are trying to accomplish the achievement, with only the firing rate higher than 0, in this case all upgrades should be reset, and the firing rate you should use as much as possible. In this case it becomes impossible indeed. I'm already changing it right now, although I think I've lost some players with this boss, but I need to improve it. Thank you for your feedback.
found a bug, game is perpetually trying to enchant a ring after its enchanted, and im stuck enchanting a ring with energy and already at 800% and climbing and it will not allow me to stop no matter how much i click stop or take on other tasks, it reverts to enchanting energy and infinite %
noticing a bug on rebirth where im getting way less RP per rebirth than i should be. most recent being meant to get 300 + RP and only getting about 160 or so, not sure whats wrong. i have spent points to boost RP gain, and even get the bonus RP after X amount of time, but RP is still low for no apparent reason.
gonna be honest, this being a sequel, the music felt very mismatched the game itself, and some levels the music just was entirely out of place. Alot of the platforming on several levels did not always sync up nicely and sometimes forced you to die or wait just to hope that you would end up in a matched cycle, additionally the final boss just felt too easy, in terms of platforming and just came down to timing just not being friendly as just sometimes it was inevitable that you would die because platforms just werent in the right place at the right time, and the falling seeds would just either through explosive radius or where they fell blocked all route to continue safely. All in all this was rather easy, but i feel this could have been put together much better.
idk why but i have started a game fresh several time without EVER touching skill 1 while trying to go for the cast Goblin skill 100 times in a row. I have skill 4 on auto cast and somehow, i am still getting increases in Tax Collection for no reason and im not sure if this is messing up my chances for the achievement
This game honestly sucks, As you play it just randomly lag spikes and i know its not my computer. I can play anything other than this one and every 5 or so seconds it just freezes and i cant do anything for a few seconds. Gameplay is terrible, hitbox for the player is vague as you can run over something and not grab it, or not get hit but take damage regardless. Movement is terrible and slow if you go backward but forward you suddenly go light speed. there is no balance and it honestly is just a poorly made game.
Game is fairly simple, began with base turrets, then went to machine, eventually got every floor 2 machines and one lazer. and one elevator had a random rocket launcher, beat game no deaths or failures fairly simple, and just concentrated my character on the floor with the highest amount of monsters though not sure if that was even necessary
Game should be a bit more obvious about upgrades. half expected on death i could spend my money for upgrades to try again only to find out i had to just just flat out start over.
Oh thank god there was only one level... its annoying when some people wander and just barely glance at you through a wall(2 pixels of a corner) while turned away and you suddenly have to run them off somewhere
noticed a rather serious bug... if you are on the lower floor of the cave and you "Mine for iron ore" if an enemy walks into you it still starts a battle when it shouldnt and then gives the error "Type Error: Cannot read property 'bitmap' of undefined. Which then results in the game needing to be restarted
progressing a year should really just restore all SP and HP, that or at least leveling up should heal as well... cause its hard to run around in that cave in the starter town without any means to heal besides wasting a year at an Inn (if they even heal you which i dont feel like taking the chance)
I notice as the biggest flaw(s) to this game are attacks/skills, the actual cursor click is sometimes really inaccurate as i will have the cursor at one point and when i click the character goes somewhat off target by a small angle that is enough to change full distance aim to be off by a fair amount, additionally post skill and spawn have massive risk of getting yourself needlessly damaged or even killed. Being mid attack is also a bit irritating against arrows the the full armored knights attack as you can still take damage if you are just a hair off or just get hit somehow. Black archers are very random as they will spawn and insta attack or like green chase you a bit regaurdless of how they spawn in relation to you. This is really great for a Ludum Dare, but there are obvious bugs that now after the fact could use some tweaking and fixing.
