I have been playing this game for about three days now, and I quite enjoy it so far. The energy, though I'm not a fan of it, is pretty generous compared to a lot of other similar games I've played. Also, with most other games I have played, getting top tier fighters is nearly impossible, and upgrading them tends to be even harder. With this game, though obtaining higher tier heroes can be a pain, upgrading them is quite possible. Every eight hours, you can fight a battle for each of your heroes, often getting a soul stone for them. There are also three heroic missions, each of which give at least one guaranteed soul stone if you use the right heroes, that you can do every 24 hours.
Anyway, there's lots more I want to say about this game, but I'll leave it at I enjoy playing it even though I have not spent anything on it. And to those who spend enough to get an edge in pvp, I feel nothing but appreciation that they can give money to an awesome developer that I can't afford to support.
I love so many things about this game! Something I would really like to see added would be making teams that you could put up to 5 heroes in, then you could send teams on quests as well as separate heroes. A speed/reward bonus for over 100% success chance and more interactive quest options would be awesome as well, but even in it's current state the game is an easy 5/5 for me, really like it. :)
I'm a bit disappointed that it takes so much time building/repairing things, it's also quite buggy. But the fact that you can buy premium currency with gold is awesome, and I really like the gameplay so far. All in all it's a 5/5 imo, keep up the good work. :)
I honestly don't understand why so many people say this pay to win. Sure there are a lot of advantages to using uncut dice (you can get them from other sources besides paying in case anyone doesn't know) but the game is fundamentally based on luck. You could have the best monster in the game and still lose pretty easily, especially if you have bad accessories, which you can't pay for. And the phoenix feather. Almost if not every game I have seen that has that feature it uses premium currency. Dice shards, though you have a bit of trouble with them initially, do start stacking up later on. The treasure chests don't seem too unreasonable to me, though I can understand peoples complaints about them. All in all id say this is fairly light on the paying aspect compared to many other games, and I don't think it really deserves the title "pay to win".
For anyone who is confused about the variations of triumphant swords, Venom seems to decrease their max health by 20%, Aura increases damage of other swords, Craft significantly increases the damage of new crafted swords, I think Party just adds "beer money" to the left of your money, not sure though. Also not too sure about Luck, maybe increases the chances of crafting a legendary/legendary with max stats, and Brute just increases the damage of that sword. Also they can't stack, so say two Venom swords wont decrease their health by 40%. Hope this helps :)
Ric Flair style.
