Well it fixed itself after I refreshed, which was scary for me, because while I wasn't all THAT far into the game, I didn't want to lose my progress :-D.
After a seemingly automatic battle with the big ship that I lost, my top menu disappeared, and I was no longer able to access the mute, option menu buttons, or see how much money/storage i had. I can't save either :(
I honestly think its poor design that you can hit an acid gloopie and the spray from the gloopie kills you. I don't mean the pool thats left behind, i mean its crappy that you hit one and the pool appears under you and you die. There's enough ways to die without having to worry about killing yourself by doing what you're supposed to be doing.
This game is really fun, but it becomes boring when the computer uses shield bash in a match. It basically just slows down the match and provides no added difficulty. If shield bash was taken out, i'd have no complaints about this game.
