There are some collision issues, and some balancing issues in regard to the distribution of Lives and continues. Giving a few free lives at continue would be a start.
When you flip off a curve and hit a wall with a high velocity you can get stuck, and Pants makes grunting noises as he's gradually pushed across the lower circumference of the ledge's arc.
