Way too many hazards, not enough loot, 1 hit deaths, and a pitifully short time to actually dig. This has to be one of the absolute worst "mining games" I have ever played. The only reason I give it a 1/5 is because I can't give it a lower rating.
TLDR: Unbalanced game-play technical problems. Don't play without major reworking.
Although it tries hard, this game is horribly balanced at the end game. The so called "ultimate items" are actually borderline useless without putting a MASSIVE amount of time into upgrading them. Then there is the heat damage mechanic While I understand the desire to implement heat damage as a game mechanic, this game does it quite poorly. How about a way to prevent it? Heat resistance only buys you some time and eventually fails no matter how many upgrades you have. Finally, the game itself runs quite poorly, suffering from major lag on most digs that go deeper that a few hundred meters.
I understand this is an idle game,I understand idle games are usually a bit slow, but there is a such thing as too slow. This is a perfect example of such a case.
This game highly depends on the playing style. So a player who knows exactly what do do and how to progress the most efficient way is probably 5 times faster than a player who makes mistakes.
It is also a bit the other way around than most idle games. The start is slower than the mid game because the calculations are not exponential but linear. I know it is probably liked more if the game starts fast and becomes slower over time but I still wanted to make a game which is more realistic than most idle games.
But I just uploaded a new version which makes the start slightly faster.
The REPAIR button at the end of the quest is annoying. Whoever thought it was a good idea needs to go back to game design 101. A user interface is meant to be as hassle free as possible! The fewer clicks and keystrokes to do something, the better!
Good game, but not great. some quests are too difficult to figure out (Police ship colors, for example). There are a massive number of grammar errors that really kill any immersion factor. Combat is also a bit difficult to figure out at first. but I can overlook these issues. What I can NOT overlook is the issues with the Light V.S. Dark war. Nothing I do seems to matter, I can have a planet at 100% light and it falls to darkness. For some reason I can't engage any enemy ships in orbit dispite the fact that my ship has max'ed upgrades and can destroy almost any ship in 1 shot. Finally, bringing light goods to planets to change the balance takes way too many goods to be practical, planets run out of goods to sell me before I can get enough to DO anything.
While this could be fun, as it stands, its broken and UN-winnable. 2/5
The base for the raiders is a nice concept but in its current form its potential is unfulfilled. It should have some upgrades that increase regeneration of hp of heroes that are there or provides some bonus damage or bonus exp if a hero spend a while resting or perhaps a crafting area to create new gear or possibly combine drops( for a fee of course), there could also be a library/scribe to craft skill-books or a merchant area that would let you sell items or get a discount from shops or at least some cosmetic upgrades / customizations, I am tired of looking at broken statues and cracked walls
It's not just you, I'm tired of it as well! All of the things you suggested are actually already planned for the future, and then some more. The first couple of things will be in the next content update on sunday.
Overall an excellent game, plenty of strategy involved and figuring out new layouts is great fun. My only major complaints are the lack of offline earnings, and no auto-replace for Protinum cells.
Way too slow. Proper balance of an idle game is difficult to pull off so don't give up! There is potential for something good here, it just needs to be refined a bit. Also, offline progression is a MUST for an idle game.
Would be great if it weren't for the constant crashes and severe lack of useful recruits. This game has solid potential but the way it is right now, I give a 2/5.
If it were not for the massive lag and painfully slow game-play this game would be amazing. Sadly, the aforementioned issues destroy what could have been a new favorite
There are games and there are works of art that are interactive. This is quickly working toward a masterpiece of flash player. Not only is it well designed and excellently balanced, it is also quite beautiful to look at. The lack of a premium currency makes this game a complete win in my book. In my opinion, its a easy 5/5! I look forward to a sequel. Also, Caes'cix FTW!!!
This is by far the BEST battleship based game I have EVER played. While its not your best game it still gets a solid 5/5. I would LOVE to see a squeal to it and eagerly look forward to your future works!
Good graphics, good game-play, solid controls, good crafting system, good building system but the horrible inventory system makes what could have been a wonderful game a nearly unplayable nightmare. would have been a 6/5 but that inventory system bumps it to a 2/5
The issue regarding the second level and shelf placement is a game breaker, its sad to see a game with solid potential fail so badly because of an issue like this. 1/5 until its fixed.
