Love this game, now I just need to start remembering which direction I was headed before looting the robbers caused me to get overloaded. Then I won't get lost in the desert again..at least looting the robbers while I'm lost keeps me stocked with food & water!
When I get to higher levels (and longer lives) I start to daydream and then forget to reinvest souls when all my workers die. A 'death' sound would be really helpful, or maybe even the music muting when no workers are running around (the music is quite industrious sounding and would be great as a theme that's playing when workers are running around and then mute when there are no workers). As an alternative, if souls harvested after every 10 worker levels that would also help me pay attention and give me something to do instead of just waiting for workers to die.
Love the game! The music is awesome. I keep imagining that I'm an alien scientist whose job it is to run an "antfarm" that I stock with little human clones. The higher level my little test subjects reach, the more I get paid and the more 'souls' I have to fund my grand experiment!
Is there any penalty for "dying"? So far as I can tell, all that happens is that you are revived with full health (no loss of money, WC, experience, level).
It was a neat little itty-bitty short game, but it really needed more to be fun. One of the endings mentioned something about finding out what happened, but no matter which choices I picked I didn't really get a good answer to that. 2/5 because it works well even if there is very very little to it.
My money was changed to NGN.NGN when I purchased the Chocolate Donut for my menu. Also, the game allows you to "buy" the donut whether you have enough money or not.
I really like playing, but after restarting 6 times and trying various things I still can't get the girl with the lighter hair and pigtails to gain any skill or efficiency (I send both girls to training after work every day and tried having the darker haired girl just make coffee or do all the non-coffee jobs and either way the one with lighter pigtails never gains any skill/efficiency). I think it's either a bug or else the one with pigtails isn't all that smart and just takes much, much, much longer to train.
I would really like to see a separate area to store my crafting materials, perhaps with less expensive inventory upgrades for that section. I would also love to see more crafting options (weapons and other items that aren't currently included). Maybe some short bit about crafting in the FAQ that explains whether it's possible to craft better than common items (superior, etc.) and what levels use what materials. As it is, I'm afraid to sell my linen even though I've moved on to wool because I had one thing request the wool tier and then the next thing crafted wanted the linen again.
P.S. The only parts of WoW I ever got addicted to were crafting and the market, lol, I hated having to go out and do quests.
