Cant get anywhere near my highest floor, that's after spending all night trying to catch up. New update is garbage and really makes it not worth playing.
Slows down like crazy once you're farming the low 100s. Takes hours and hours to get it do a point where the points will make a difference enough to rebirth again.
We want to improve it! We started slowly buffing gold gain in 1.0b and will continue to do so (just trying to avoid going overboard and suddenly players end up with too much devalued gold that they don't know what to do with).
Really hate waiting for the shadow clones to build every time I rebirth. Gets tedius just sitting around and waiting for 10 or whatever clones to be built so you can get back to the real game. Just a pointless funnel in my opinion. At least let us work on creation also, make it so shadow clones can be built in conjunction with one of the element types also.
Still feeling like defense is way undervalued. I ALWAYS die to one shot from a large universal cube, and for the most part I am doing my best to balance damage/health/universal resist. Would really like to see things damage decreased significantly, including my own as long as I can survive some hits and make use of things like nova and absorb.
So new edit, have been going as ham as possible here, and I agree that the defenses aren't really worth trying to keep up with later on. It's all about one shotting stuff. Really like the idea here though!
Another thing I would mention, is the specific defenses (i.e. white/red/blue etc) really need to be cheaper. The universal defenses should be unlocked early and scale fast, but as it stands now it just isn't effective to put defenses into each and every one, it costs way too much for 2-5 damage resistance. By the time you have the all at 2 damage, the enemies are dealing 4-5x more than that.
Rewards are much lower while the difficulty got harder, wouldn't call this balance. The blueprints really aren't that worth it either, putting a point into damage only saves me 4 (for example) white blocks. That's a lot of effort for ONE starting damage. They need to be re examined as percentage bonuses, as it stands now there really is nothing that makes it easier to start over other than how many more white blocks you start with (which by the way is half as much as last night).
The balance update is really awful today, it is harder (on "easy" mode) for less rewards.
Would really like to see an expansion of the auto sell. Something like, Auto sell all whites/blues etc. And no matter what any item with combo charges should never be sold.
basing all items off level is useless when gold is so much better than white, obviously.
Kind of a small thing, but might be pretty neat. But since hero buff points are every 25 levels, why not have another key for us to hold that does +25 per click vs the 10 or 100. Like I said, small convenience thing for later levels.
