buggy as hell! Why does a flash game with graphics and sound of the early 90s uses over 2 gigs of ram? Because of really, really bad coding! I tried playing it 4 times because of the rather nice sound and each time it crashes before i'm even 10 years old. Look at your programming books and learn your stuff, the concept is rather nice and it would be a shame if it keeps this buggy. 2/5 because really nice concept ++ and sound + but totally buggy - and hell of a ram user - and therefor unplayable - - . Bug is reported btw.
Hi!
It's not a flash game, it's HTML5, and it shouldn't use so much memory, but there is a memory leak on Firefox that makes it take too much memory on some platform/browser combination because firefox is not freeing up the ram properly.
I'm not going to discuss my programming skills or abilities, but I think there is no point in being so aggressive in a comment, specially when the issue is more caused by the browser than by the game's code.
I have played it in Chrome and Firefox on my system and I never got over 800MB of total memory usage for the browser process.
Apart from that, the game was done for a 10 days jam. It obviously has bugs and issues for sure, and they are being fixed, but I can't fix everything in a matter of a few days.
Cheers! Dis.
Nice game, but no physical background i guess.. You call the bubbles on the screen "Photons" but they behave more like billiard balls. Do you really think that two random photons anihiliate each other? Or that they somehow stop each other? Yes it is possible that photons interfere BUT if they do, a physicist would describe them as waves not as phonons with describe the particle of light. As other have said, the "knowledge" in your Encyclopedia is smattering, sometimes only bad written, sometimes even wrong... Really sad, because of the promising game play..
Nice music, nice 5 minutes, but only 5 mins.. easy till lvl 12 (last lvl), mostly luck.. did it about 10 to 15 times with never more than 51, than got 60...
For the boss: Look at the patern, first some shoots at you, than the machine gun part: to both sides, up, other sides, down, than he moves, after he moves up: Till now you only had to avoid his shoots, NOW its your turn: after he goes up, he come down and you can shoot him : ) rate up for the others =)
With my new laptop way to easy. Before I had tons of lags so it was nearly unplayable...
For those who have problems, move slowly around a quarter of the field and shoot at inside of that quarter, so you can easily upgrade your weapon because you can see whats laying in your shooting area. Nukes are good for bosses but else unnecessary.
First of all, you could mute the game... (options and then turn the music to 0) and second, way to easy for a puzzle game, way to "random" for a puzzle game, but it's a nice kind of... ?finesse? game.. (you only have to try it 2-3 times each level and it work, most of them on the first time..)
defnitly needs a mute button.. i could understand that it is difficult to understand that when you had work so hard on the music to allow to mute it ;-)
I can't survive the Pearl attack (last attack??) I got till there with all lives and got him with the second live to low hp but I can't kill the crappy crab!! crap..^^
any suggestions how to survive??
