Just got the badge. Here's some tips: 1) First focus on establishing a single, centralized source of income as fast as possible. Prioritize disconnected regions you already own. 1a) Don't be afraid to later sacrifice the aforementioned connected regions if they're too out of the way to safely defend. Ex: the bottom province in Rising Sun. 2) The only time I've seen anger play a factor is when an enemy province borders multiple others, in which case they prioritize attacking you. A "friendly" province only bordering you will be more than happy to rout your units if you leave an opening, so always ensure you are defended properly. 3) Against smaller provinces, it may be better to neutralize than capture them. Ex: Against a 6-land province defended by a single pikeman (i.e. no income), defending with 1 pikeman is much more efficient than capturing with several knights/pikemen. Later, you can replace the pikeman with a castle, stranding the province for the rest of the game.
Have you been spending stone at all? Research speed is based on how many of the related resource you currently possess, so if you're spending them, the research will take longer.
That's not how many points they're giving; that's how many points they currently have. Squad power is effectively a meaningless number: someone could have a higher squad power, yet be doing worse in arena.
For those who haven't see it yet, they added a speed up button in the top-right corner of the battle screen before you start the fight. 3 chevrons is the max. It also looks like the battle can run even faster if you make the window lose focus. It would've saved me a lot of time yesterday had I known this sooner.
I just got the hard badge today. For those still struggling with it, here are the levels where I improved on Smurfie's times by over 4 seconds: L6: 0:54.48, L12: 0:42.11, L17: 1:15.06, L19: 1:10.16, L21: 1:55.33, L23: 1:22.80, L24: 1:01.40. Of particular note is level 19. I actually thought based on how things were going that my time would be awful, so it should possible to take that one even lower.
This game is alright. It took a bit getting used to the momentum, and I can see the learning curve being a bit too sharp for some, especially when you get "stuck" on the wrong side of a movable object and can't get over it.
@kevc: If you look back at Ch21, when Ink is texting with Sent on the Gemini, Sent specifically gives him the name of the game with a slash. Every other time the game is mentioned before that message, it is done by someone speaking, so realistically, Ink should've been the only contestant who knew it had a slash in the name.
True, some of them could've used dashes, but using a slash as a separator for 2 joint words isn't very common.
That's strange; after hearing all the complaints about this game having stopped working, I decided to check it out myself. I am currently running it on Firefox on a Mac, and it seems to be running fine on my end (I entered the first level to test). Maybe try another browser, or the dev fixed it somehow?
About what I mentioned earlier, I just took two screenshots to demonstrate: http://imgur.com/CUhBvG7 and http://imgur.com/BNgnmZQ First is how far you can go logically, and the second is one possible solution you didn't pick that still fits all the provided clues.
I like the new clues added to the app version. However, the levels created to demonstrate them seem rushed. #167 in particular has about 4-5 different logical solutions.
Happened to me, too. Game will sometimes generate a blue rectangle clue right next to a mine, causing the mine to be semi-revealed in that it doesn't blow up, but you can't flag it, either.
Wow! 5 months later, and you're still coming up with new clue types! This game deserves a higher rating. I mainly wanted to comment about the mobile version (which I half-expected from the beginning based on the available control schemes). Last I checked, I was unable to change the control scheme at all. Is Mark First not implemented yet in the mobile version, or is it a bug? (If it matters, I'm using a Galaxy S5 with Lollipop.)
I'm guessing Xavpig means use Aflatoxin on the enemy, kill all the cells with something like a Thunderstorm or Desiccation while a Graveyard is up, then rewind the skeletons. I see several problems with this, though: 1) You can only have up to 6 RTs/Rewinds in your deck; Eternity should also be included. 2) This method is impractical due to the amount of time needed to set it up. Fallen Druid(s) + weak creatures like Protons or Deja Vus is much faster and gives you mutants. Having Graveyards as a backup plan in case your weak creatures are killed before you can mutate them isn't a bad idea, though.
There should be a prompt when clicking the upload button. My incomplete level got automatically submitted while I was drawing clues around the upper-right corner of the board
Thank you a lot! Many users lamented that the old system wasn't clear enough, so I decided to restyle it a bit, glad you liked it!
