Number 7 has two possible solutions based only on the sum of opposite die walls, but only one is accepted. You can freely exchange 5s and 2s on the light green and orange dice.
The monster encounter in this game reminded me of the first encounter in the game called Another World (Out of this World for our American brethren). The one with the black lion or something at the start of the game. That was pretty great game design back then.
This puzzle mechanic is not never before seen. A simillar concept was used in the Playstation Mini title called Where Is My Heart? It was refined further with controlling multiple characters with different abilities and one of the abilities even was changing the connections between puzzle pieces. I never understood that one :-)
The videos I just watched made it look similar but different. Too bad I don't have a way of playing it.
